"The company advertises that they will provide solar energy to customers in remote areas, but when it came time for me to actually get set up with solar, there was no help from them whatsoever. I spent countless hours trying to work with their customer service team, only to be told that there were very limited options for me and the ones provided would not work for my needs." Alan H.
"The technology is outdated, unreliable, inefficient, and downright dismal. I was promised a top of the line system with state-of-the-art components that would save me money in the long run — what I got was anything but! The panels are old and inefficient, with a lifespan of only half the time that I was promised. They don't generate nearly as much power as they should and require frequent maintenance to keep them running. The inverter is obsolete, using outdated technology that not only reduces efficiency but can overload and fail without warning. Just horrible!" Mike R.
"Alaska Solar's warranty is incredibly limited and inadequate. It only covers the solar installation itself, but none of the associated work. As someone who paid for a solar installation from Alaska Solar, this was extremely disappointing to me. I have already had to pay out of pocket for repairs that should have been covered by their warranty and I am beyond frustrated. Alaska Solar's warranty does not cover any ancillary costs associated with the installation, such as labor or materials. This means that if something goes wrong, I have to pay for any repairs out of pocket. This is unacceptable - I paid a large amount of money for this service and expected it to be covered by their warranty, to no avail." Rob Z.
"The panels themselves are unreliable and prone to failure, often going offline without any warning or explanation. I have contacted customer service multiple times about my issue, but all I get is lip-service and empty promises that nothing will change. The technicians they send out to install the system are inexperienced and often leave behind a mess of wires and cables that make my home look like a rat's nest. On top of all this, their pricing is outrageous - they charge me two or three times more than other companies in the area. I strongly urge anyone considering doing business with Alaska Solar to stay away and find another provider. The quality of their products, customer service, and pricing are simply unacceptable. I have wasted an incredible amount of time, money, and energy dealing with Alaska Solar. I have been lied to, over-charged, and provided with substandard products." Hanry O.
"Upon reaching out to them regarding an issue I was having with my system, they were so unhelpful and dismissive that it felt as though they weren't taking my concerns seriously at all. Their response time to inquiries was also incredibly slow, leaving me feeling frustrated and helpless. On top of that, they provided inaccurate information in regard to the issue I was having and seemed completely unwilling to help me find a resolution. At times, it felt as though I was being talked down to and not taken seriously." David T.
"I am beyond satisfied with my experience with Alaska Solar - from their very affordable prices to their excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install solar power on their property!" Fany P.
"They were very knowledgeable about all of the necessary paperwork and regulations related to tax credits for solar energy systems, so I felt confident that everything would be handled correctly and efficiently. The team worked quickly and diligently to ensure that I received the maximum tax credit available. They even followed up after the process was complete to make sure that everything went smoothly. I'm so glad I chose Alaska Solar for my solar energy tax credits, as they made the entire process stress-free and straightforward. Highly recommend!" Antony O.
"One of the things that really stood out to me was the fact that Alaska Solar sources their materials and equipment locally whenever possible. This not only supports other local businesses, but it also ensures that the products and materials used are of the highest quality. I felt good knowing that my investment was supporting the local economy and helping to create jobs in the community." Candy W.
"The installation crew arrived promptly to begin the job and wasted no time in getting right to work. They were organized, polite, and extremely knowledgeable about their craft. They explained every step of the process to me as they worked, ensuring that I was comfortable with what was happening and could have peace of mind throughout the entire process. The job was completed quickly and efficiently with no problems whatsoever. My solar panels look fantastic - sleek and modern, just how I wanted them to be! Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but I'm thrilled to be able to reduce my energy costs and start using clean, renewable energy." Donna W.
"I liked how Alaska Solar added a human touch to every part of their service. Their team knew what they were doing, was friendly, and really cared about making sure that my solar energy system fit my wants and tastes. I never felt like just another customer; they treated me like a valuable part of the community." Panny H.
