Ambrose Solar online reputation

Customer feedback about Ambrose Solar has been very good. They have received praise for providing excellent customer service along with expert services and high-quality items. Numerous clients have commended them for their prompt response to their inquiries and swift installation. On the other side, some clients have complained about the cost and the opaqueness of their procedures. Overall, Ambrose Solar has shown its dedication to providing reliable goods and services to clients.
"Don't hire them; everything seemed fine until it started raining, and now my roof is leaking. The contractor even brought pictures to prove his shoddy work. The damage to the interior cladding of my house is very significant. I tried to contact Grant to get the situation fixed, but he said it was my problem, not theirs, and that they were not responsible for what happened. After I emailed him pictures and documents to prove that the roof wasn't leaking after it was installed, he got in my face and yelled: "Have fun trying to prove it didn't leak." I had recently redone my roof, so, of course, it didn't leak throughout the summer. Grant is of little use and has an attitude problem, so avoid hiring him. Because of the unexpected cost increase, I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The feedback comes from close friends and family." - Ryder B.
"The promises made here will not be fulfilled. Not business savvy. They wouldn't climb on my roof without my permission, but they wouldn't provide me with the insurance information my policy requires. No safety gear, and employees with little to no expertise. Nearly $600 for a potential 5-minute examination. What a sham. The average cost of a service visit lasting between 30 and 60 minutes is $160. Once again, a complete con." - Omar N.
"After studying many other companies, I settled on Ambrose. It started great, but then things quickly went south. They ignored my calls, messages, and emails. They claimed fault and then apologized. We agreed on a date and arranged for installation. At the last minute, Mark calls and tells me that the previous agreement is null and void and that I need a new roof at a cost of $30,000. He stated that he had screwed up again and he wished I had been warned sooner. He had the pictures taken before the inspection for almost a month before he informed me of them. I was given a contract after I agreed to a new roof. A few days later I got a call that the interest rate had increased, costing me an additional $3200. Even though I agreed to it, since I got my first loan, my subsequent loan applications were rejected because of credit checks. For months they kept me on my toes, and now I can't even get sunshine at another firm. It was the worst experience of my life. Months of wasted time, not to mention the funding problem I now face." - Nicolas S.
"Too many individuals seem to misuse the 1-star rating, therefore I won't be using it. To cut a long tale short, the salesman I talked with convinced me to go with Ambrose Solar. He made a lot of claims, but the one that got to me was that when I obtained bids from other companies, all Ambrose solar did was smear me and insult me for going with them. It was strange since all I did was tell the truth and say I wanted to shop around for a better price. However, buyer beware. Once they found out I was shopping around for better rates, their previously excellent customer service became hostile and combative. That's too bad." - Elias C.
"The 60+ positive ratings swayed my decision to go with Ambrose Solar, and the fact that they offered SunPower panels sealed the deal. I've had great success with the SunPower product so far. From the very beginning, I had issues with Ambrose Solar, and those issues never went away. They're all lovely, but I wanted to be sure my solar panel installation was done properly since it cost me a pretty penny. After making multiple requests, I finally obtained the permit drawings I needed to verify that everything mentioned during the site inspection was reflected in the paperwork. A couple of weeks later, at 7 o'clock in the morning, I was greeted by an unannounced member of their installation crew. After I finished the installation, I was informed the following Monday would be the inspection. The scheduled inspection never took place, and instead, I was informed, days later, that a derate was necessary and would have to be scheduled at a later date (at least two weeks away) with PG&E. When I inquired whether the city inspection would happen at the same time, they shocked me by saying, "No, you do not need a city inspection"." - Tanner I.
"I just can't express how fantastic our interaction with Ambrose was. When we first met Collin, he easily explained how everything worked. He wasn't aggressive at all and was quite educated. They use incredible software that analyzes your roof and calculates how much sunlight each section of your roof gets. Then, to help you visualize the installation, it adds virtual panels to your roof. It was a very smooth and quick transition to doing inspections to prepare our home for solar panel installation once we got the permit. The installation team was excellent. The quality of work is top notch and I wholeheartedly recommend anyone who turns to Ambrose for solar panel installation." - Cody G.
"Before the latest NEM regulations, we were considering installing solar panels on our roof, and a friend suggested we get in touch with Ambrose. When compared to other door-to-door sales businesses, their representatives were not at all aggressive. Based on the parts we specified, they provided us with a range of pricing choices. Their descriptions of the various panels and battery choices lined up with the reading I had done before our meeting. The pace at which everything happened was beyond my expectations. The installers did a great job and were very kind. If you own a home in the vicinity, you should definitely hire them. Many thanks!" - Ivan S.
"We finished installing the first phase of the electrical panels. We really appreciate the work they did and how carefully they installed everything. This group is top-notch and should get a chance. The support from our development team has been excellent and very efficient. Our project manager, and her assistant, are on top of the permitting and scheduling processes and are quick to respond to our requests. Thank you so much! Our sales representative has extensive industry experience and was invaluable to us while we were discussing this major purchase. He helped us at the last minute before the NEM 2.0 deadline and brought us into compliance. That's an amazing job! I appreciate it. The next step of our solar project is to install the panels, a very high standard." - Edward H.
"Ambrose Solar was outstanding from start to finish, even now that the installation is complete. The pitch and presentation was transparent, informative and exactly what we needed. Every one of the team that came to our home was kind, responsive and experienced in what they do. After installing the SunPower panels and Tesla battery, we were fully supplied with power and were able to not only avoid power outages, but also sell excess energy back to PG&E. We have complete confidence in the Ambrose Solar office, a knowledgeable staff and a gracious back office that will take care of any issues that may arise after the first installation." - Jeremy K.
"Superior quality + unparalleled customer service = THE BEST! Before choosing Ambrose, we checked out their other offerings. We appreciated their use of Sun Power solar panels and the professionalism of their presentation, which included a great warranty. The first person we encountered was fantastic. He explained everything in simple "solar" terms and doubled down to make sure we knew exactly what was going on throughout the entire process, from purchase to installation to operation. Irina was our point of contact for all phases of installation and billing. She was just as competent and pleasant to deal with. The estimated completion dates were met precisely. They were also incredibly easy to contact and talk to. We received timely and patient responses to all of our inquiries. Highly recommend!" - Alan M.
