American Array Solar online reputation

Customer opinions about American Array Solar are conflicting. Some clients give the business high marks for its aggressive price, superior installation skills, and timely communication. However, a number of unfavorable reviews draw attention to problems with unresponsive sales representatives, poor customer service, and broken promises. Positive evaluations, on the other hand, highlight the caliber of the installation job, the professionalism of the crew, and the reasonable costs. One client even commended the business for immediately repairing roof leaks and honoring warranties. While American Array Solar generally got excellent feedback for the quality of work, cost, and communication, it's obvious that the business might improve in terms of customer service and keeping to its commitments.
"I didn't purchase Solar from this business. This assessment is solely based on my attempts to cooperate with their sales representative. I was gathering quotations for a project. A sales representative and I scheduled a meeting, but he didn't bother to phone or show up. Three hours later, he phoned to see whether it was a good time. When I answered the phone, he seemed indifferent. However, I was still debating continuing. He never responded to my emails, calls, or text messages. I made two calls to their office and asked if anybody could assist me, but I was told that only the person you talked to could. They said that they left him two messages asking him to phone me, but neither was returned. I transferred to and joined another business. I've never received worse service than that." - Mike K.
"To put it mildly, this organization employs unique sales strategies. In search of customer recommendations, Sal contacted my parents, who were formerly clients. Sal is informed by my mother that I have a contract and responds by promising to undercut it by at least $2,000, to throw in a bonus if I post a Yelp review, to pay her $300 for a recommendation, and to finish the job by April. Although I wasn't shopping around or trying to get a better bargain, this chance presented itself, so two days later I phone Sal, who makes the same assurances he made to my mother. I provide him the papers he asked for. I don't know who Angie is and I don't really care at this moment, but she strikes me as being unprofessional and unpleasant straight away. She provides me a plan that is neither cheaper nor faster. Absolutely terrible customer service, but instead of offering an apology for Sal's excessive promises and her subsequent underperformance, she blames me. Sal here. I'm keeping up my half of the bargain by giving you a positive Yelp rating." - Jaclyn L.
"Only Anthony E., the sales representative, is the subject of this review. I wanted to know how to begin a quotation I had obtained from energy sage. Anthony starts the process by asking a few questions about use, the number of panels, and other things. I answered all of his questions and told him how many panels I needed. He advises me to install a few more panels until Nem 3.0 takes effect before we hang off the phone. Gotcha. I was sent a proposal an hour later that included excellent equipment at a very reasonable price, so I did ask about perhaps adding extra panels. Over the phone and in messages, Anthony exhibits symptoms of tiny man syndrome, telling me that his time is precious and other such nonsense. He could have easily purchased five or more more panels from me, so what a dumbass he was to lose a client. I apologize, American array, but this guy has to go. especially with the excellent gear and pricing you guys are providing! I requested a callback from a supervisor from both him and the Livermore headquarters, but I never received one. Therefore, the procedure for BBB and Google reviews will immediately be initiated:). Anthony did a great job, grab 'em, tiger!" - Hovik B.
"They could be the worst employer I've ever had. Avoid like the plague anybody who does poor, incompetent work or is unresponsive in the workplace." - Nick T.
"They provided me with reasonable quotations, but as soon as I requested the contract, they disappeared. When I phoned the firm, they promised to poke the salesman, but nothing occurred. The salesman had ceased responding to emails and phone conversations. It seems to be a strategy to meet the deadline quickly. Avoid falling for that." - Szymon J.
"I just had a battery and solar system installed. I received three prices after speaking to many businesses. The cheapest was American Array. The setup went well. The installation staff did a fantastic job installing everything and were extremely nice and respectful of my property. They also patiently answered all of my bothersome questions. My flat TPO roof is supposedly simple to damage. Since then, it has rained several times without any leaks. My only criticism is that the company's communication might be a little better; I had to contact them to find out what the process's next stages were, but it wasn't poor enough to deduct a full star from their performance. 5.0 stars!" - Steven B.
"I strongly advise using American Array Solar. They upgraded the main service panel in addition to installing my solar system. The procedure proceeded without a hitch, and American Array took care of everything except for the time spent waiting for inspections and permissions from the city and PGE. Whether it was by phone, text, or email, communication was always timely. American Array supplied one of the most competitive quotes—and the lowest for a local installer—of the 7-8 businesses I had investigated. There were no surprises or additional costs. Finally, despite the recent severe downpour, I didn't observe any roof leaks." - Jason W.
"Working with American Array Solar to get solar panels put at my house was a pleasure. Throughout the sales process, Daniel was excellent at responding to any of my inquiries about time, budget, agreement, etc. The personnel was extremely professional and friendly, and the installation procedure went without a hitch. For anybody in the Bay Area seeking to add solar, I highly recommend American Array solar!" - Thanigai V.
"The business American Array is excellent. In terms of warranty work, they were accommodating! They had to come out to remedy little roof leaks, so I had to call them. The roof leak was patched up or fixed the next day when they showed up. I heartily endorse them!" - Philip M.
"I just had the first part placed on my roof. Once SC approved the permission, the turnaround was rather swift. Anthony was incredibly helpful with all of my questions and worries about solar and provided me with a very affordable quotation! Their office responded quickly to any status updates. I'm eager for the project to be finished! Thanks to American Array Solar, the procedure went quite well." - Jason C.
