American Solar Pros online reputation

Customers who have received service from American Solar Pros have generally been satisfied. Numerous clients have praised the staff's professionalism, promptness, and high level of service. Customers have, however, sometimes voiced complaints regarding service delays and a lack of response to their questions. In conclusion, American Solar Pros offers high-quality solar services, but they might do a better job of satisfying their clients.
"The solar panels aren't generating what they should be producing, and this business is the worst since they don't respond to calls and they don't guarantee the savings they offer. I've had this company for six months. I've been trying to call someone for six months to come out to my home to repair the panels, but no one has responded, and my power bill hasn't stopped rising." - Dylan K.
"This relates to my plans to sell my home while bringing American Solar Pros with me. I put it this way because I discovered that American Solar Pros had the first lien on my property when I sought to sell it. So, I had to settle up with American Solar Pros before listing my home for sale. I was really taken aback. I forewent keeping $20,000 in my personal pocket to provide the new Homeowners with a state-of-the-art solar panel system. No strings attached! That phrase always rings in my head whenever the topic of solar energy comes up. But you can be sure that I will give them a piece of my mind before anyone else if they bring up solar." - Sandeep E.
"Worst business I've ever had to deal with for dishonesty. From their first promise to communicate with the HOA until the final completion date, they have lied to us at every turn. They'll tell you anything to get you on their side, but they won't follow through. By the time we reached the halfway point, we had had enough of the constant deception and broken promises. We simply want to cancel everything, the CEO, called us, using his usual flowery language about how he'll give us a gift basket and how he'll always do the right thing if we cancel. After months of labor, the system is complete, and we've sent the necessary documents to them. He has stopped returning my messages and has stopped doing the work he said he would if we kept working together on the project. The moral of the story is: avoid this firm at all costs if you value your sanity." - Manish P.
"Today, January 26th, a sales rep from American Solar called to introduce themselves. He requested my information and then offered to arrange for a technical specialist to visit and scope the installation job while explaining my alternatives. I agreed and scheduled a meeting at 1:00 PM the same day. The sales rep assured me that I would get a call from the technical dispatcher within the next few minutes with the name of the service provider who would be arriving at 1:00. No one called, and nobody showed up. When the salesman insisted that my wife accompany me, I should have known it was a trap. This is necessary, of course, so that the incoming staff member can efficiently get our signatures and finalize the transaction. My recommendation is to keep your distance." - Shivam J.
"You should stay far away from this firm. I just had a system installed, and I haven't gotten the activation code yet. I believe the firm is making excuses for its poor customer service by pointing to the lockdowns caused by the Coronavirus. Although my rep is terrific and has always tried to advocate for me, the company as a whole is severely lacking. Calls came from all over the country and sometimes from other countries; I never saw "American Solar Pros" shown on the Caller ID, so I assume it's simply a collection of freelancers. What sort of corporation conducts business by passing the customer from representative to representative? Not at all spectacular, if you ask me. I wasn't specifically looking for a solar firm, much less this one. I made the terrible decision to take a cold call from someone using my own area code. Even though my system hasn't gone live yet, I have to start making payments next month. This business provides abysmal customer support." - Puneet A.
"We collaborated with American Solar Pros's Randy. They put up solar panels and top-notch materials for the roof. I can't wait to see how the first power bill turns out. Randy and his crew put in an extraordinary effort to speedily finish our installation. Less than two months passed between when we signed the contract and when the new roof and solar panels were completed. Randy made sure that even though our roofing project was more complicated and took longer than expected, we still stayed within our allotted budget. Also, Jack made sure we got top-notch service for the finishing touches, such as house painting for the areas where trim had been removed. We'd give them a perfect score if it weren't for the fact that their costs are more than average. However, I am hoping that the quick turnaround and higher quality materials will be worth the additional cost." - Nikhil T.
"Purchasing solar panels might be intimidating, but working with American Solar Pros was a breeze. The data they provided made sense and was correct. We are happy to be utilizing green energy and our electric cost has vanished thanks to the panels' efficiency." - Patrick O.
"Emely, the sales lady I worked with, was fantastic. Emely never once made me feel rushed. She filled me in on the details, answered my many questions, and eased my worries. Unfortunately, only one of the promised two installers showed up. The poor man slogged through the task, but he just had two days to do it. The work was finished in a nice and orderly manner. The customer service representatives were kind and thorough in their follow-up. They were even granted authorization to begin operations rapidly." - Dean L.
"American Solar Pros was the winner after I conducted extensive research and analysis. American Solar's sales rep was really helpful in arranging to finance so that I could pay someone else to put in the canopy. American Solar provided excellent service and kept me informed at every stage. American Solar not only put up the solar panels, but also the 240-volt charger for my hybrid electric car. This company ensured that all required parts were installed, and I was kept in the loop throughout the process. In terms of installation procedures, they were more involved than I had anticipated. Finally, I'll be able to gather enough solar energy from the sun after I get my trees pruned. Don't miss out on the simplicity of working with American Solar by not giving them a go." - Vishal C.
"This firm was suggested to me by my financial planner. My wife and I were very nervous about moving forward with the project, but once we did, they did a great job of explaining everything to us and answering all of our questions. They kept us updated at every step of the process, and on the day of the installation, I was very impressed by how hands-on their engineers were. The sales consultant assured me that it wouldn't take more than a month to have designs and permissions authorized, thus the only reason I'm not giving this firm five stars is because it took about two months to install." - Johnny H.
