EGT was established in 2010 with the goal of being the biggest and most reputable provider of local solar energy services in Idaho. There were just 58 solar installations in Idaho as of that point. The low utility rates in Idaho and the then-high cost of solar components contributed to this in part. We were positive that both of these elements would evolve and give rise to a thriving solar sector in Idaho. Eight years later, Idaho is one of the top three states with the fastest expanding solar markets in the US, one of the states with the highest expected utility bill increases, and the price of solar components has never been lower. Idaho's solar industry has a highly promising future!
