"ExactSolar is a bad solar firm based in Newtown, Pennsylvania. They are unprofessional and refuse to accept responsibility for their errors. We hired them to put solar panels on our property, and the entire procedure was fraught with complications. "I had the displeasure of recently dealing with ExactSolar in Newtown, PA. I was assured that a solar panel installation would save me money on my power bill and that it would be done on schedule. However, the installation took over 6 months to complete, and when it was finished, I realized that it was not saving me any money on my power bill. "ExactSolar is a blatant rip-off. They make false promises and do not keep them. I had them build a solar panel system for my house, and the result was a disaster. They installed the panels in the improper location, wired them incorrectly, and failed to check the connections. When I contacted to get it fixed, they simply ignored me. "ExactSolar was a disaster! I'm quite unhappy with the service they gave. The salesman was useless and inept. He didn't respond to my emails or phone calls, and when I asked him questions, he seemed uninterested in answering them. The setup was a nightmare. Exact Solar installed our solar panel system, we’ve been extremely pleased with them. They were very nice to deal with, and got the job done when they said they would. What’s been even better is the ongoing customer service. They have always been very prompt in responding to my phone calls and emails, and have been cheerful, helpful and proactive in resolving my issues and questions.
We chose Exact Solar based on customer recommendations, specifically homeowners that we met on a local solar tour.
I initially called Exact Solar because of their A rating on Angie’s list. Every interaction with this company, from the owners, salespeople, engineers, installers and billing staff has been professional and pleasant. Their expertise and experience has been evident throughout. Their installers worked through absolutely hellish winter conditions to get the installation done in December and the system has performed flawlessly since. Exact Solar also installed a battery backup that has kept us up and online through two power outages so far – particularly important for me now as I am working from home during covid quarantine. The power shifted over to the battery immediately and I was able to continue working while my neighbors were firing up their generators. They also installed two EV chargers for us, making my Bolt even cheaper to operate now. The only negative part of this experience has been my electric bills. As in, they are literally negative. Couldn’t be happier with this job. A+ work all the way.
