"When we called to order a Tesla charging station, multiple technicians arrived, all of whom gave us conflicting information. They were at a loss for what to do. Instead of the garage, they recommended putting it under the carport. Clearly, I rejected that idea. After having multiple technicians come out to our house over the course of three weeks, they finally admitted that they were unable to run a wire. We contacted a different company for aid, and they promptly dispatched an employee to our location, whereupon they confirmed that they were capable of running the necessary wire and completing the repair once we received the necessary components." - Adrian P.
"When we reached out to them via the Tesla website, they declined to issue us a quotation for any Tesla goods. I eventually received an email answer after chasing it down many times before giving up and phoning someone else. That was it for me once we received their quotation. By choosing to go with someone else, I was able to save more than $20,000!" - Cameron K.
"Extremely impolite and demanding salespeople. Even if you shut the door and ignore the "no solicitation" signs, they will continue to try to sell to you. It's clear that the corporate office doesn't give a hoot about this ongoing complaint. Unreal." - Santiago K.
"The salesperson assured me that this would pay for 70-80% of my needs. According to THEIR evaluation, now that the system is operational, it can only provide 40% of my required output. I realized this before the system was fully functional, contacted them, and while they were pondering a solution, they went ahead and approved the loan (took my money). They ignored me for weeks before calling to say they made a mistake and would sell me more panels to make up for it. Everything about this has been designed to mislead the customer, and now I'm stuck with a bill that won't be covered by the system's output even in the best summer months. It will cost me $24,000 for a system that can only meet 10-40% of my annual needs. SCAM!" - Eli P.
"An out-of-state firm (Good Faith Energy) convinced me that installing solar panels would lower my utility bills and be cost-effective because of rebates from my utility provider and the federal government. The system was installed on my roof by a local subcontractor, but he had to come back repeatedly to finish the job. The installation process took a total of 6 months from the time the contract was signed to the time it was connected to the local power company. My neighbor took 7 weeks from contract to connection when he used a LOCAL company for his larger system. My system had problems, but the company blamed the subcontractor (his contractor) for not submitting the necessary paperwork to the Texas utility company to get the rebate. The local power company was not consulted before installation. Their subcontractor is responsible for the mess they made. Now I have lost my local power system rebate of over $4,500.00, but at least the system is functional." - Ryan K.
"To sum up my time with Good Faith Energy in one word: AMAZING!! Everything was flawless, from the initial presentation to the final review. The event unfolded precisely as planned. All the paperwork needed by the city and the HOA was provided by Good Faith Energy, and any questions asked by the city or the HOA were promptly answered. My needs were accommodated, and I was given thorough explanations of each procedure. In addition to installing my solar panels, they also put in a NEST thermostat and patiently answered my many questions about how it worked and how it could help me save money and make my home more efficient. Both my Solar PV system and my NEST thermostat have exceeded my expectations. I love that my Solar PV system has a feature that shows me how much I am helping Mother Nature by going solar, and I check my smart-hub meter every day to see how much I am producing. For the record, Good Faith Energy receives a 6 out of 5 from me. Good Faith Energy provided me with the best customer service I've received from any company in recent memory." - Angel L.
"After months of searching, a recommendation from a friend led me to Good Faith Energy. They lived up to their billing and provided me with not only the lowest price but also the quickest turnaround time for the job and the same hardware used in the original build. There were no surprises in the final bill, and the team was always accessible and helpful when I needed them (even helped me remove some things from the backyard). The setup was completed on time and without a hitch. A total of about 7000 kWh have been generated by my 13-panel, 5-kW system. Several times, Good Faith checked in to make sure my installation was going smoothly and that the system was generating as expected. It helped me save about half of my summer electricity bill, and I'm already planning for more to be installed. Other than the initial investment, I have no issues with going solar. Solar energy becomes more financially viable as the cost of the technology decreases and the number of people who want to use it rises. Because of my positive experience with Good Faith Energy's customer service, I would recommend them to anyone considering installing solar panels." - Cooper J.
"This business cares about lowering your electric bill and is willing to work with you to achieve your goals. They quoted less than competing businesses and completed installations rapidly. They have storage options and use micro-inverters that monitor each panel separately." - Waylon M.
"The young representative of the firm showed up on time and gave me an estimate. The costs of all the improvements I could make to my antiquated house were too high. I could only purchase one electric vehicle since I had already made the commitment to buy one. It could have cost him a lot of money to sign a deal with me. However, he also offered a remedy, which proved to be cost-free, so in the end, he wasn't compensated—or was he? He receives this evaluation, and I'm thinking about investing in solar energy and may even get in contact with this firm personally since it felt great to meet someone who is honest. To put it plainly, I'm glad to have at last met a reliable person." - Easton E.
"As a rule, I avoid reviewing products. I get the impression that there is no need to warn people about something if it is good, but that it is important to do so if the thing in question is harmful. And I'm going to go against the grain and actually give a FANTASTIC review for a change. I was looking for solar panel and powerwall installation businesses in the fall of 2019. I interviewed three firms, but Good Faith was the clear winner. Not only did they have TESLA POWERWALL inventory, but their prices were significantly lower than the competitions. When I was shopping, the powerwall was extremely popular and only Good Faith carried it. By the time the polar vortex hit Dallas in February, my solar panels and powerwall were up and running, and I avoided going dark like so many others in north Dallas. I felt joy! However, that's not the end of the story. Some problems I had with the warranty highlighted whether or not a company has integrity. And praise will be bestowed upon Good Faith. It's not uncommon to deal with businesses that vanish after receiving payment. The energy wasn't in good faith. They came quickly, paid close attention, and took action quickly. I was prepared for subpar assistance, but I've received nothing but the best throughout." - Kai B.
