On April 6, 2010, Ron Romero created HI POWER Solar. Ron has over 37 years of experience in the solar sector in Hawaii. While working with previous solar firms, Ron came to the conclusion that after a "project" was over, the client was quickly forgotten and was no longer considered important in regard to ongoing system maintenance. Ron decided to treat every one of his clients as though they were a member of his own family since he was aware of how special and family-oriented Hawai'i is. As a result, HI POWER Solar was created. Numerous pleased HI POWER Solar clients helped to build the business and are still helping it to expand today.

Five years later, Ron assembled a group of specialists who would lead us into the future after discovering that HECO was and still is a monopoly. Ron has always put a premium on offering items of the greatest caliber made using renewable energy sources. Air conditioning, solar hot water, photovoltaics, and now batteries are some of these goods. To make sure the product will function the way you would like it to, Ron spent more than five years researching before installing the proper battery system on his house in 2016.
