Icon Power online reputation

Judging from customer reviews, Icon Power has received mixed reviews from its customers. Some customers were pleased with the quality of service and installation, while others were disappointed with sales tactics, customer service, and overall value for money. One customer was dissatisfied with a representative who came to his door, claiming he had violated the established property boundaries, prompting him to stop buying from the company. Another customer expressed dissatisfaction with the system's high cost and poor customer service, including delayed responses and broken promises. However, there were also positive reviews from satisfied customers who praised Icon Power's experience, in-house setup and ability to deliver on their commitments. One customer even changed his initial negative review after receiving exceptional personal service from one of the company's partners. Overall, it seems that Icon Power could have some areas for improvement in terms of sales tactics and customer service, but they also have satisfied customers who appreciate their in-house setup and experience. Potential clients should do their own research and carefully evaluate the company before making a decision.
"At about 2:15 pm on April 17, 2023, an ICONPower representative knocked on my door. Three "No Trespassing/No Soliciting" signs are posted at the street's front of my driveway. It is difficult to overlook them. He said that he did not see them. In other words, he violated a posted property's boundaries. I've made the decision not to buy the system after reading reviews on this and other websites." - Katherine R
"DO NOT PERFORM IT! BEAR OFF. Because there was no rating lower than one star, I was forced to choose that. Any rating of five stars for this business is untrue or most likely provided by an employee. Compared to ANY other firm out there, their items are EXTREMELY expensive and subpar. If you are considering using Icon, DON'T DO IT! If you have a contract with them, break it as soon as possible and thank me later." - Brandon B.
"A farce. Brian Woodward, the salesman. We were repeatedly informed our system would support regular use. Lie #1. Brian leaves me on read with no answers even though my system barely covers 50%. He posts on Facebook. Lie #2: The system won't charge you until you collect credits. The system was billed before it was switched on. Brian said he would Venmo the bill. He vanished. We provide excellent customer service. Every time I phoned regarding my credits, including the $400 due for NV electricity being switched off and on, it took over two months for them to follow up and deliver a check. My account now needs a deposit. The CEO and CFO ignored my emails. I've called NV energy many times to find out why the system isn't working and why I'm paying $700+. Avoid this company—they just care about money, not service." - Brittany B
"They won't cover their own costs. My solar system was estimated, and I'm now paying much more than I ever would have. I was told that my monthly bills would be little to nonexistent. I was informed that they were investigating it, but they don't provide feedback to their clients. Error codes on my new inverter date back to months before my system was built. Solar is a waste of money; don't spend it." - Kevin P.
"In gated communities with NO SOLICITING signs, they shouldn't be going door to door soliciting. Find another marketing strategy if people are interested in your services. Since this is a community of elderly, people have a negative opinion of your product." - ML W
"On our house in, we put up a rather challenging solar plus battery installation. Icon Power performed well in terms of planning, client satisfaction, and how proactive they were in ensuring that the task was done correctly. I appreciated that they were nearby, handled their own installations, and had a ton of expertise with projects similar to mine. I heartily endorse them!" - Shay S
"Amazing job. It's uncommon to discover a business that handles everything in-house and truly delivers on its commitments. These people were by far the finest out of all the solar firms I had previously researched. They performed fantastic job, and my system runs flawlessly." - Jacob B
"One of the partners at Icon called me, and he was excellent. Why? He heard me out and recognized my dissatisfaction with the business. He went above and above to treat me with respect as a client. It says a lot about customer service, the character of the partners, and the management at Icon that a partner would contact me in this day and age. I am revising my evaluation in light of this personal service. I merely requested that more customer service training be done so that future clients wouldn't get subpar assistance. Many thanks " - Sandra S
"Fantastic firm, and we never use outside contractors on our premises. The installation went off without a hitch. Extremely delighted." - Dave A
"The procedure of using Icon was quite simple to grasp. John is an excellent local salesperson. Everything worked just as planned, and we are already making a profit." - Michael W.
