Infinity Solar, Inc. online reputation

Customers' opinions on Infinity Solar, Inc. have been mixed. Customers have mostly been pleased with their purchases, and they often comment on the helpfulness of the employees. Customers have complained about the lengthy wait times for responses to their questions and the exorbitant price of installation. Infinity Solar, Inc. seems to be offering decent service to its consumers on the whole, with some opportunity for improvement.
"Friendly installers. But the panels were installed incorrectly. We lost precious energy time totaling many months. Try as you may, you won't be able to reach them for a refund. Months have passed. They move quickly during the sales phase, but servicing takes considerably longer. Their monitoring software is also subpar." - Jack K.
"They are fast to respond and install the system after you contact them. They are slow to file paperwork, and if anything goes wrong with your system, don't hold your breath waiting for a response or a remedy. After 6 months of installation, we've barely reached 70% of our contracted output. Worse, we weren't able to save up on enough credits to last us through the winter during the crucial summer months. I've tried calling them more than a dozen times, but no one can come repair the expensive equipment I bought from them. The Better Business Bureau has also received my complaint." - Noah H.
"To put up solar panels, we contracted with them. On the day before Thanksgiving, they were put in for the first time. They have not been functional as of this day (14 August 2021). Once they were placed incorrectly and had to be moved to their proper location. Two were broken, and it took them months to remember to replace them. They still don't seem to have gotten the memo that the wait was necessary. Because of their ineptitude, we have been paying our bank and power bill ourselves and will now have to file a claim for compensation. They promised to finish before the first bill was due, yet here we are, nearly a full year later." - Francisco S.
"I would like to give it 5 stars, but I have not been thrilled with what I have seen so far. On November 1, 2021, I paid my first payment after signing the documents with Infinity. On November 28, 2021, our project manager texted me that it could take up to six weeks to get the necessary permits. That time had long since passed. On December 25, 2021, the permitting manager, wrote me that the county required additional paperwork. On Jan. 10, 2022, I received an email informing me that I would have to wait three to four weeks while the project went through the permitting process. Nothing has changed since we completed the paperwork. It was no secret to Infinity that we needed a larger panel upgrade. Before I signed the paperwork, I asked to inspect the site and put my stamp of approval on the panel upgrade. There has been no response from Infinity yet. I was informed that it would wait until the four weeks were up before contacting the county again. While I have been more comfortable working with Infinity because of their many positive reviews, my husband is becoming increasingly frustrated because he thinks we should choose another supplier who has better prices and several positive reviews." - Lana T.
"Avoid working with them at all costs! A team finally arrived on a Saturday, four months after they'd first promised to get us on their calendar. Our roof is a disaster because of them. There were missing tiles, poorly patched tiles, and unprotected spots. Their installer even pushed his foot through the wood and didn't tell us about it or make it right. We've been phoning them for months now, ever since the rain began and our roof started leaking, and the owner has shouted at my husband for complaining. And the regulator advised me to count my blessings that I have solar. We've been homeowners for 20 years and have completed dozens of repairs, but this one was the worst. With so many options, it's important to choose a solar energy firm you can trust." - Braden C.
"This evaluation has been long in coming. This firm was a pleasure to work with. In October of 2020, during the height of the epidemic, I signed a deal for a large solar system with batteries. They spent a lot of time with me addressing my numerous questions and laying out all the possibilities for panel specifications, inverters, and installation. There were significant delays in receiving the batteries from Tesla, which were not the responsibility of Infinity Solar. So, Infinity installed the solar panels first, and then returned once Tesla sent the batteries. Infinity was dedicated to doing a good job and making us satisfied with their service. They spent time thinking about how to make the most efficient and aesthetically pleasing use of the space in my garage. The daily cleanups performed by their personnel were likewise very well done. Again, it was not Infinity's responsibility that Covid caused so many setbacks with the municipal inspectors, SCE, etc. Infinity persisted through it all, and now we have a great system that we're extremely pleased with." - Logan M.
"Learn the material! Nothing can take its place. Infinity Solar provided exactly what I needed after doing my research (I talked with about a dozen businesses and visited with half of them on-site). They worked with me through every step of the process, from deciding where to put the solar panels and putting out the electrical conduit to helping me understand the data from my production and consumption logs once the installation was complete. Two of my friends' families have also signed up with Infinity and they couldn't be happier." - James F.
"It was a pleasure working with the team at Infinity. Since we were paying for the entire cost of installing the solar panels, we were understandably wary when it came time to choose an installer. After reading reviews praising Infinity's responsive staff, we decided to go with them. When we went to other companies for suggestions, we often received delayed responses. What level of customer service can you expect from a company that doesn't return your calls trying to get your business? The answer is not endless; they responded quickly and readily accommodated any request. Timeliness was maintained at all times, and questions were happily answered. They were quick to answer questions and concerns and completed the installation in one day. Highly recommend." - Samuel V.
"I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed working with your team. I know that you have worked hard to cultivate a culture of professionalism and kindness throughout your organization, and it shows in your staff. From what I can see, the installation was done quite professionally.... I'm looking forward to receiving those credits officially recorded after I've passed inspection. Thanks." - Mason B.
"I loved working with Infinity Solar. They were pleasant, informed, and professional right from the start. We spoke with six other firms, but Infinity stood out as the obvious winner in terms of technology, installation techniques, communication, overall procedure, and pricing. They performed all the legwork for permits, etc., and kept us in the loop the entire time. The installation day was fantastic. A team arrived at 8 a.m. and worked until 3:40 p.m., after which they left the premises clean. I cannot speak highly enough about Infinity Solar." - Isaac D.
