"The first service and set up went well. However, it has persisted as an issue after every syllable. I have to constantly make phone calls to attempt to have things fixed. When there is a problem, they do not respond calls. The tellers are hasty in their pursuit of your cash. For the last 12 months, I have been attempting to resolve a problem. I have tried calling and leaving messages and even texting the manager, but no one has responded. They installed an insufficiently powerful system, and it shows. It's not right that all they want from me to do is spend more cash. There are still unexpected charges appearing on my electric bill. I even wrote a certified letter pleading for assistance, but have heard nothing back. The electricity provider and two separate solar installers have all told me that my setup isn't enough for the size of my home. My sales representative told me, "You need to spend more money." You'd think that, for the price of their sales presentation, they'd really be able to solve the issue, but that hasn't been my experience. I have invested a lot of money with IQ Power, thus I expect them to make amends." - Ronald K.

"There is a lot of employee turnover here. After waiting more than 3 years for the system to be refined, I was charged a yearly fee of $146.33 to file complaints. I haven't seen any decrease in my monthly energy bill, and the water heater itself has a leak since they installed it on the incorrect side of the roof." - Justin F.

"Both the sales staff and installers were friendly. Our broken system and the fact that the manufacturer won't back it up are to blame for this. The equipment was put in place at the end of November and activated not long after. I found out that one of my panels wasn't working within a day. A technician was dispatched to my house a few days after I contacted. He said the panel will be replaced because of a broken temperature sensor. After a month of waiting, I finally decided to phone the business to inquire about any developments. The standard response is always the same: “They have notified their warranty department and are waiting to hear back. Meanwhile, I've been paying my monthly bill in full, despite the fact that the system isn't doing its job. It hadn't even been operational for a week when we discovered the faulty components. I take it you don't have such spares in stock at a firm whose only business is solar panel installations. WARNING: THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE USED." - Gregory O.

"In case a storm knocked out power to my area, I had hired this business to install solar panels just for that reason. So that she may use the vent at night, my wife need power. That is precisely what we were assured this system would do. So, I put up solar panels and forked out $25,000. The electricity went off one day because of a storm. When I asked about this, we were informed that the solar panels would stop working if the power went off. Even if I have a battery backup for my system, I am still required to have it hooked up to the mains. This is apparently obligatory knowledge under Florida law. It's ridiculous that you have to pay a fee to this firm in order to pay them, obtain an invoice, or avoid direct debit. I've been forced to use a method I don't like." - Dennis M.

"Technicians and dispatcher were friendly, thus one star was awarded. The solar panel system for our pool has been in use for almost 15 years and needed to be replaced at the beginning of March. This fully automated, computerized (apparently cost-saving??) system did not provide any options, and neither did the orientation. Not only is it difficult to use, but it also lacks the power necessary to run our seasonal vacuum cleaner. A lone technician arrived some time ago, and everything improved for a while. Since the pump has unexpectedly ceased working, the pool has suddenly become overheated and a horrible shade of deep, deep green, with neither the chemicals nor the vacuum working. There have been no accessible technicians for two weeks. To say we're frustrated would be an understatement. Costing a lot of money to install something that isn't working well and much more money to clean the pool if they ever get it working again...." - Brayden B.

"Our new 11 kilowatt system and two heat pump water heaters were recently installed by IQ. The office staff, and the crew were all very efficient, quick to respond, kind, and helpful. The layout of our home posed some difficulties, but their engineers and technicians came up with effective solutions. In order to keep the electrical line-workers safe during protracted power outages, typical solar systems must be disconnected from the grid. However, with our new sunny boy inverters, we can keep our beach house's little appliances running even after the sun goes down. We are relieved to have switched to solar energy.
