Nevertheless, Live Wire Solar & Electrical has delivered trustworthy and client-centered solar and electrical services to clients.
"It's been a whole year since we started using solar energy, and we're still having problems. Recently, our system stopped talking to the panels for more than a month, and I haven't been able to get in touch with anybody but a service center that tells me to fix the problem by sending an email. The lack of customer service is a major problem. My first year's output fell short of expectations, and I've been reaching out to anybody who may be able to assist me in fulfilling my obligation to get that figure up to standard. This response is merely a formality to make the company look good. Don't send me a form email; give me a number I can call." - Jeffrey L.
"With my home's solar panel installation, I opted with Live Wire Solar. I deposited $10,624.00 with them. In May of 2021, this began. I was given the rundown on whether or not the installation would be possible. I requested a refund over six weeks ago. I never received a check, and there is no one to talk to when I call. They can't be trusted at all." - Patrick E.
"Worst solar salesperson I've ever talked to, and his site feasibility analysis is a joke. Unfortunately, my preferred ground-based installation is going to be impossible to pull off. They have now informed me that if I cancel my project, I would be charged a 15% cancellation fee or forced to switch to a roof mount system, which I do not like to do. Avoid these individuals at all costs." - Shivam F.
"I contacted Live Wire Solar to get a price estimate. They, like many solar firms, believe that desk research is sufficient, even when the nearest consumer is just 15 minutes away. My home is rather ancient, and its roof lines are quite complicated. I mentioned this on my first conversation with them. I also said that I would be ready to help with tree maintenance. They said they will send a knowledgeable person out to have a look at the project. Okay, so that person was reluctant to emerge. The information available on Google was sufficient, he thought. Extremely nave. Three firms had previously been contacted; two declined to make an appearance, but the third appeared, and it was discovered that, indeed, they could develop a system. In addition, I told Live Wire Solar that I would be ready to tear down an old chimney in exchange for additional sunlight, which was an offer I hadn't made to any of the other firms. In conclusion, Live Wire Solar doesn't seem to have much drive. They probably simply want level surfaces to work on. It's not like that all the time, obviously." - Jack F.
"Getting solar panels from Live Wire Solar and Electrical has been one of the most unprofessional and frustrating experiences I have ever had. Live Wire Solar and Electrical did not complete the agreed upon job within the agreed upon time frame. I thought I done a lot of homework on solar companies before settling on Live Wire, but after my ordeal, I can safely say that you should avoid them at all costs. I agreed to terms in October, and it's now March; I'm still not fully installed and connected to the utility. I've been trying to get them to fix it for months, but they've broken every promise they made to finally make the connection. The complete absence of communication throughout is incomprehensible. I made the mistake of recommending them to a close relative before completing the installation, and I really regret it today." - Eric S.
"Live Wire installed solar panels for me. They are easy to deal with and affordable. We had hoped to have it last year, but bad weather forced us to postpone it until this year instead. They were also fair in their demand for a delay in payment until after the panels were fitted. They performed an excellent job with the panel and electrical box installation. During the summer, our energy production has exceeded our consumption. In all, it was a very satisfying adventure. Anybody thinking about switching to solar power has my full support." - John W.
"Kevin was a pleasure to work with from the start of our collaboration. We had some difficulties establishing a connection to Enphase for online monitoring, but their technicians visited often until the issue was fixed. If I were to start again, there would be no doubt in my mind about who to employ. Continue your excellent work, guys!" - Anthony D.
"From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, the LiveWireElectric team was fantastic to work with, and we have nothing but praise for them. We were very grateful that my email and phone inquiries were answered so quickly. The representatives gave us sound advice on choosing the best panels and inverters for our property, walked us through the installation process and even took the time to paint the wiring to match the look of our home. The end effect is a pristine look. There doesn't seem to be anything that needs to be added. The installers worked efficiently and thoroughly and remembered to clean up after themselves. When we inquired about recommendations, we were quickly answered. The staff was happy to answer any questions we had. Facilitated the procedure and helped us learn a lot. Great value for money. Incredibly pleasant encounter in every way. We are so pleased with them that we would recommend them to anyone looking for solar energy systems. Fantastic, local, owner operated company with great deals and customer service." - Thomas F.
"Brian provided me with professional service and clear communication throughout the whole of the process. It was difficult to install my solar panels on the roof because of the shade. Everyone that helped me with this project was wonderful to deal with; they were all very kind and accommodating with my many questions and choices. A heartfelt "thank you" everyone else who has helped me feel so solar-proud." - William H.
"We looked at several online and then requested three quotes and inspections before deciding on a company to Solarize our home. From our first meeting with Live Wire, we knew we had made the right choice. They not only went up on the roof to collect precise angles and measurements, but they also showed us all the numbers and explained their methodology. Another firm made educated guesses, while the most heavily promoted firm provided unrealistically positive replies. We were really pleased with Live Wire's dedicated personal help at every stage. We are confident with our choice and continue to endorse Live Wire to anybody who comments on or inquires about our solar panels. Fantastic time with fantastic people." - Christopher A.
