Positive Energy Solar online reputation

Feedback from customers about Positive Energy Solar has been overwhelmingly favorable. When it comes to service quality, customer care, and professionalism, Positive Energy Solar has earned high marks from satisfied clients. There have been a few cases of customer unhappiness with the firm owing to exorbitant costs and subpar service. Although there have been some negative evaluations from customers, Positive Energy Solar has received overwhelmingly positive ratings for its ability to satisfy all of its demands.
"Worst customer service ever. Keep your distance. As a result of their terrible customer service, they will miss numerous appointments and offer no solutions to the problem. Regularly, their representatives will mislead you and have no idea how to use their own software. Stay far away from Positive Energy Solar if you can choose any other security firm in the world." - Jeffrey S.
"One of their representatives blatantly lied to me in an effort to get me to sign up. Indeed, my next-door neighbor is experiencing the same thing. After the initial thirty days, he will return to make a final decision and assist me in paying off my other security system; in addition, my monthly payments will decrease once I have paid it off, and I will receive referral bonuses. After I put pen to paper, he vanished. I've been trying to get in touch with him for two weeks now. Apparently, the trial lasted only three days, so he vanished to permanently confine me after the third day. And committed to working with me for the next five years. I'm still a customer for the time being, albeit a captive of the agreement. That's the company's representative, and they defended them when I called to cancel my service. Those beliefs are central to who they are. There are at least ten people in my area who are bound by the same contract. I'm only with them because I feel like it, so you don't have to be either." - Ryan B.
"In May of 2019, I signed a contract with Positive Energy Solar that stated my monthly payment would be $42.99 for 60 months, and that if I broke the contract, I would be responsible for paying the fee times the number of months left on the contract, and that at the end of the 60 months, Positive Energy Solar could increase my monthly fee. That which I must pay on a regular basis has already been increased twice. I called to dispute the charge the first time after receiving a notice in the mail that I could do so. While I was assured that the extra charge would not be applied to my account, it was. My rate has gone up again recently. Previously, my monthly payment was $42.99, but it's now $45.14. Those few dollars and changes don't seem like much, but a contract is a contract. I was told that when I called that it was due to "unavoidable charges." There is no mention of my fee increasing due to unavoidable costs anywhere in my contract. If I cancel, I will also be responsible for paying the new, higher amount multiplied by the number of months left on my contract. Positive Energy Solar, in violation of their own contract, can unilaterally increase your rate at any time by citing "unavoidable charges" (who's going to take them to court over a few dollars a month...but think about how many people are paying those extra few dollars a month), but you cannot terminate your agreement with them without paying more than you agreed to initially. And the customer service rep who tried to help me out by talking to someone higher up was told there was nothing she could do and that I would just have to pay the fee. When it comes to dealing with Vivint, you're up against a brick wall." - Jacob N.
"Poor quality of service to customers. The installation has been canceled on me three times. Have spent the better part of a week on the phone with customer service just trying to arrange dates and times for appointments. When they arrived to do the installation, they demanded batteries and command strips, despite having already charged $300. Please explain how my three hundred dollars were spent. Absolutely not a company I'd refer anyone to." - Gary K.
"Dealing with this company's customer service is a frustrating ordeal. Our system was installed less than 30 days ago, and we have had nothing but trouble with the cameras going dark and the control panel losing connection to the WiFi. To get the equipment they sold us up and running, we had to call and have a tech come out to check the installation and make sure everything was working properly. It took us 30 minutes on the phone to simply set up the work order. Someone was also physically within the range of one of our cameras, as I personally stood in the same spot, but the camera did not record them tampering with the phone box on our property. In sum, I am completely unsatisfied with my time spent here and cannot wait until our contract expires so that I can switch to a different provider." - Nicholas W.
"Customer-focused benefits from Positive Energy Solar. They give each job 100% of their attention. They make it easy to understand what is involved in the solar project by providing timely information and clearing up any confusion. As for the age-old inquiry, "Would you do business with this company again?" I'd say without hesitation that I most definitely would." - Steven F.
"Positive Energy Solar has my unequivocal and unreserved recommendation. I've been looking for a company that shares my dedication to environmental sustainability in order to help me accomplish my goals. Positive Energy was fantastic from the first time we spoke until we officially wrapped up the project. Every single person I spoke to on their staff was "positive," knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, prompt, and professional. My wife and I are the types of customers who are picky and can be annoying because we want to know every last detail about a project before we commit to anything, but everyone we dealt with at Positive Energy was patient, thorough, and comprehensive. Before hiring Positive Energy Solar, we had some hiccups with other home improvement projects (floors, painting, minor renovations) we had recently started. I told my wife several times via text message that Positive Energy exemplified "how a company ought to be run." A couple of other local solar companies reached out to us, and I ended up getting an estimate from one of them. They did a great job on the front end of the sale, but following up with them was a nightmare because they outsourced everything, had no local support, were disorganized, etc. Positive Energy Solar, on the other hand, is a New Mexico and Albuquerque-based company that has its own in-house sales, project management, engineers, and installers and is thus extremely responsive (they do subcontract the roofing prep and finish, but have a good partner). Positive Energy handled the project as if it were an actual engineering endeavor and provided me with all the necessary information. The engineers and installers (I forget their names) were great, but I want to single out Andrew, Joshua, and Carol." - Kevin R.
"I only have wonderful things to say about this company. Their whole team is competent, accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with. They went above and above to assist me with the drawn-out and tiresome process of obtaining permissions and passing inspections. Both the sales and project managers provided me with prompt and detailed answers to my inquiries. My greatest suggestion is for them." - Paul P.
"The PES staff is incredible. Customer service is what swayed me to choose this local business after hearing positive reports from three of my neighbors who had previously worked with them. We had a great experience with George (sales adviser) who was quick to respond to our inquiries and assist us with our specialized roofing project. We had a few problems that were unique to our house, but Ronald (the project manager) helped us figure them out, and the installation went off without a hitch. They gave me a fair quote and fitted my home with a cutting-edge solar power system in the allotted time frame. They were able to activate my PNM net metering on time despite the flu epidemic, and they also prepared all the necessary documentation for me to claim a tax credit. The setup is fantastic! After the first month, I stopped receiving an electrical bill. So, why hold off?" - Edward M.
"Throughout the course of our project, we were in contact with many members of the Positive Energy team, including Sales Associates, Engineers, and Installers. Everyone we interacted with treated us with the utmost dignity and courtesy. They paid multiple visits to the site (always while wearing masks) and were always prompt in responding to our inquiries. They contacted us when a new, more efficient panel became available on the market and showed us the financial and energy production benefits of switching. To ensure that neither our home nor their employees were exposed to any COVID, they even brought a portable toilet to the work site. We would hire Positive Energy Solar again without hesitation if we were to start this project from scratch." - Jason C.
