Solar Energy Labs online reputation

Customers have generally been pleased with Solar Energy Labs. Many people have praised their prompt and competent service as well as the caliber of the goods they offer. However, some customers have reported that delivery and customer service response times have been delayed. Solar Energy Labs prioritizes client satisfaction while continuing to work for the highest quality standards.
"I needed to get one of my solar panels fixed. After weeks and weeks of calls, a technician finally came to inspect the control panel. He said he would need a second technician to do the job. After a month, I decided to call them again. They were very busy but promised to fit me into their schedule as soon as they could. When I called again a month later, I was told they were expecting a replacement component. I complied with requests for serial numbers, etc. There has been no contact with this firm for over four months. If they are not interested in repairing it, that's fine; just let me know so I can look elsewhere. But to keep me waiting like this is wrong. Less than a week after I called the other company, a technician came to my house and fixed the faulty panel himself. Instead of calling Solar Energy Labs, which is known for less than professional service, you can contact the companies responsible." - Craig P.
"Bought everything I needed. After waiting for two weeks and calling almost every day, someone finally showed up. They arrived, stood outside the home for two minutes, and then said they couldn't do a good job installing. My attempt to describe the sun's path toward the home lasted all of 30 seconds (I couldn't see it through the clouds). They clearly weren't interested in hearing me out, as they abruptly ended the conversation." - James F.
"Do not purchase solar panels under any circumstances. Your new power bill will be higher than your old one. Overpayments range from $68 to $116, according to a study I made that matched real kwh consumption with solar panel payments from 6/22 to 4/23. Also, I was assured of a financial windfall, but instead am being charged twice as much." - David N.
"Solar Energy Labs placed the panels on the solar array I bought from them in August of 2021. My system has failed inspection many times and is now non-functional. I have not been told what causes my system to malfunction or whether or not it will ever be fixed. The panels were poorly installed and did not conform to the approved design, and the workmen left garbage and rubbish on my property." - Rahul A.
"Even though your team finally showed up today to perform the uninstall in preparation for tomorrow's new roof installation, I cannot accept this response. After that, I took the dogs outside, where I saw slashed zip ties, a massive bolt, and a BLADE scattered about the patio. Another example of the caliber of company you run. I hope my dogs didn't ingest anything that was left behind by your staff, and I pray that none of my children were harmed. I have video and images to prove it. Consistently terrible service." - Robert B.
"I really like these people. We took note of the fact that JEA pays just 5 cents per kilowatt hour for electricity, but we pay 11 cents per kilowatt hour to JEA. Until our battery is fully charged, we will not sell back any of the excess power we create but are not consuming. In order to save money on both cooling and heating, we decided to install a hybrid water heater in our garage. The only thing I would change is to install additional solar panels. Although our 18 panels generate enough power to meet most of our needs, the battery is never fully charged on cloudy days. Since our new water heater was slightly wider than our old one, it prevented our attic ladder from reaching the ground, but these guys came back and moved it at no extra cost, so everything worked out great in the end. If only every business I've ever dealt with paid as much attention to customer satisfaction as this one does." - Amit L.
"Even though JEA was severely difficult due to numerous reasons, the SEL team did a superb job of following up with JEA to have the system "turned on" and installed the panels and backup system. The front desk personnel was fantastic; they answered all of my questions, kept me updated, and were always fast to reply." - Dean L.
"I'd want to take this time to express my gratitude to Solar Energy Labs for installing our solar panels and battery backup system. When I received my first statement from JEA, I was pleasantly delighted to see that the electric portion was just $30.00, down from the usual $130. The installation staff was very professional and meticulous, and they always left the work area spotless. Solar Energy Labs, as a whole, was very reliable and quick to respond to my inquiries." - Johnny I.
"Have gratitude for their assistance. The solar firm that installed my system has since gone out of business. The roof needed to be replaced. They were incredibly skilled and took care of my solar system after the previous installation had made some mistakes. Putting the panels back on the roof took some time, but they handled my calls promptly and professionally the whole time. My plan is to keep using solar energy, and maybe someday install a battery backup system. In appreciation, Solar Energy Labs." - Sebastian G.
"In early autumn of 2019, Solar Energy Labs finished installing our solar system. Their staff was kind, helpful, and patient as they fielded our many inquiries. What a fantastic solar energy management system! Since the completion of the system, there have been two power outages in our area. Everything about the system performed as planned. Within a minute, everything had switched over automatically, with only essential systems running and no power-draining devices left on. You've done a fantastic job, so many thanks!" - Michael D.

Connecting with Solar Energy Labs is simple via their official Facebook page. There is a lot of useful information regarding the company's offerings and it has a sleek design. It also includes some useful advice on using solar power. Only a small number of people have subscribed to this page, though. The lack of regular updates also makes the page suspect. However, Solar Energy Labs does update its site often with information (mainly photographs and videos, along with a few links). It also makes it easy for customers to get in contact with the business for further details and questions.
