Solar Is Freedom online reputation

It should be highlighted that Solar is Freedom has served a large number of customers, and the majority of them were happy with the outcome. The majority of customers acknowledged the items' high quality as well as the staff's professionalism. However, some clients have complained about communication issues, installation delays, perhaps dishonest business methods, and unjustified extra fees. However, Solar Freedom is dedicated to enhancing its offerings over time to guarantee client happiness.
"We need to replace two microinverters (it happens). The manufacturer sent a replacement, but after a year, they won't set up a time to fix or replace it and won't answer emails or phone calls. I complained to the Better Business Bureau, but they didn't answer that either! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS. If you do, don't say you weren't warned." - Keith B.
"This whole thing has been a terrible nightmare! First, I checked out all the great reviews on Google. Jennifer, our saleswoman, was very nice and told us she had no plans to leave this company. This happened in late November. At the time, they had installs planned for February and March. At first, we were very happy about our purchase, but by April, we still weren't on their schedule to have it installed. When we found out that Jennifer was leaving, she reassured us that everything would be taken care of. At the end of May, they finally got our system set up, though not completely. At the end of May, they came out to dig the trench. They didn't come back to do the installation until the following week, and it was another two weeks before they came to fill in the trench. When the trench was dug, the worker who did it hit and broke our drain tile. He said they would fix it. My husband talked to a manager and asked that a picture of the fixed drain tile be taken before the trench was filled back in. They "forgot" to take a picture of the fixed drain tile. Now that it's the middle of July, they still haven't come back to finish the installation. They said that they still needed to set up the communication lines and that they would let us know when they would be back out to finish this service. Also, all of the positive Google reviews are there because they pay their customers $500 to write them and get the names and phone numbers of their friends and family for referrals. Very sketchy business!!!" - Marion D.
"A very bad group. About a year ago, we were given the offer to have solar batteries put in. We didn't have a lot of bills at the time, but Noel, our representative, told us we wouldn't have to pay anything else. Batteries were put in during the month of August, and since then, sometimes our bills have been even higher than the year before. Since this time, we also have to pay for batteries. Noel said it was our fault that we worked from home and used more electricity because we did. But neither I nor my husband worked from home even for a day. Noel said that the days are short. Ok. The bill for April came. We paid $38.92 last year and $38.64 this year. Plus batteries payment. People think twice about putting in. Noel never picks up the phone when it rings." - Everett F.
"I hired Solar is Freedom to put a solar system on a building with apartments. The installation went pretty well and was done about 10 months after the contract was signed. But the monitoring only showed how much electricity was being made. I had a solar system put in when I lived in Florida a few years ago, so I know a lot about monitoring systems. They show graphs and a history of how much power is made and how much power is used. After the system was finished, it only showed how much power was made. This seemed strange to me, and Solar is Freedom told me that the ability to track use would cost extra. Ok, I'm sorry, I didn't understand this at first, so I gave the go-ahead to install what it takes to track both production and use. When it was done, the system seemed to mix the power it made with the power it used on the graph. They tried to fix it, but they don't seem to know what to do. They stopped trying 9 months ago. It's been over a year. I filed a complaint with BBB, but Solar is Freedom still hasn't replied. The most interesting thing is that Enphase, the company that makes and supports the software for monitoring energy production, has a red flag to tell me that the readings are wrong. Talk to your installer about... I talked to them, and they said they didn't know what to do next. Buyer Beware... The systems I had put in place in Florida are working perfectly." - Romeo C.
"We put down a deposit and signed a contract on August 22nd, and ever since then, we've had no luck getting in touch with anyone there. Perhaps they are a fake or bankrupt business, but I have my doubts. Right now, all I want is to have my initial payment refunded. Put in an appearance!!" - Sebastian K.
"I made the decision to go solar in May 2018 and worked with this business. They conducted a comprehensive consultation during which they addressed all of my concerns, gave me with accurate projections of my monthly energy production and expenses, and handled all of the Duke arrangements. I was able to switch to the new meter and turn on the system within a week after the installation was finished in less than a day. Since the system was built, I haven't had any issues, and in the almost five years that it has been operational, I have saved more money than I had expected. I have told many of my friends and acquaintances about solar energy and the Solar Is Freedom campaign throughout the years. If you're considering going solar and want to deal with the finest firm available, give them a call." - Stefan L.
"Solar is Freedom has treated us like family from the very beginning. From the first meeting through the manufacturing and installation of the solar panels, our account manager, Jeff White, was a wealth of information. After a storm damaged our home, Solar is Freedom was very patient as we worked through the repair process. The insurance company and the roof replacement was the main problem. Jeff was always available to help with any schedule changes we needed. Our home has 23 solar panels and is wired and ready to connect to the grid. Changing to a net metering system only requires a meter exchange. Strongly suggest." - Clarence K.
"Solar Is Freedom recently installed 22 panels on our house and I honestly couldn't be more pleased with the results. We opened on October 20th and have been running strong through November 29th. There have been a few cloudy days, but we've still generated enough power to meet our needs. We generate around 18 kWh daily on average, with a peak of 43 kWh on the one truly sunny day we had during that time. I can't wait to see the results next week when the weather forecast calls for sunshine most days. There is no social media platform, including Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, that I frequent more frequently than my solar app. Our account manager Terry deserves a lot of credit. Terry had already answered most of my questions before I even sent my email. In cases where he was stumped, he consulted his superior Paul, who provided an equally prompt and competent response. The service provided was the standard by which all businesses should be measured. I have already told several of my friends and family members about Solar is Freedom and will continue to do so." - George M.
"I looked into it. Among the top five companies in the United States. Only LG panels, are widely considered to be among the best in the business. This was the only business that had truthful information and didn't try to pressure me into making a decision. Did not try to upsell me on unrelated items such as insulation or faucet aerators in addition to the solar panels. Bruce was my main point of contact, and unlike previous contractors, he was always ready and willing to answer my questions." - Mark N.
"After two full billing cycles with Solar is Freedom in place, my only regret is not having done this sooner. It's amazing how much money we're able to save, even during the colder seasons. The service provided by Solar is freedom has been excellent. Their professionalism was unwavering throughout the entire process, from the initial presentation through the installation and review. This company has my highest recommendation." - Ron M.
