SunCommon website review

SunCommon's solar services provide everything from pre-installation evaluation and financing choices through installation, maintenance, and monitoring. Also, the organization provides expertise in solar energy engineering, licensing procedures, and utility hookup standards, among other areas.  SunCommon's distinguishing characteristic is its Solar as a Service approach, which enables clients to obtain renewable energy at no up-front investment. Instead, consumers pay a monthly charge that includes all solar installation expenses, and the firm assists them in taking advantage of solar energy tax benefits. Consumers can also choose SunCommon's Solar Financing Program, which allows them to purchase the system outright while still receiving advantages such as federal and state tax rebates.  In addition, SunCommon's Shared Solar Program allows users to purchase renewable energy from local solar farms. SunCommon also provides a variety of photovoltaic modules, inverters, mounting solutions, and other solar equipment and components. SunCommon offers clients an easy and cost-effective option to receive solar energy. The company's objective is to make renewable energy accessible to everybody, and it contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by promoting the use of clean energy sources. SunCommon seeks to deliver superior goods, services, and customer support so that solar energy is more accessible to all.

"That was the most disappointing and aggravating part of building a house for me. I have been dealing with this firm for 8 months, and there has been no progress toward an installation. They tricked me into signing a contract by making many promises they never fulfilled. I am really worried about the kind of work I may anticipate on my brand new house because of the poor communication, lack of professionalism, and significant concerns with the workers. Problems with the COVID supply chain may be used as a justification for ineffective management at all levels of operation. When I tried to give up, they said they would bill me and "drop off" the items at my residence. This firm may have been a good option in simpler times and on a smaller scale, but if your project is complicated or will take more than a year to finish, I would not suggest them. Multiple requests for help were met with excuses and apologies but no actual progress. I want this nightmare to finally be over." - Frances
"It has been over three months since they promised to install, and I am still waiting. They are so chaotic and unclear about what is going on that I have to contact them whenever I need an update. I would gladly terminate my agreement with them if I could." - Will
"Salesman Chris is a dishonest liar. They ignored the inspection day and never called. Chris claims he was not phoned, but Rebecca at the office insists he did. There is a lack of customer service at this company. If they can not get started after a simple site examination, they will lose a lot of money. English : Jeff Irish The business owner is safe from harm, shielded by his staff. There are several other solar firms that are more cutting edge. You can only imagine the difficulties that will arise if things begin badly.I am waiting to hear back from a supervisor or owner. Not a thing has happened." - Tom
"I contacted while Hudson Solar was still in business, and a representative helped me out right away. Due to the automated nature of the system and the seeming busyness of everyone involved, I have sent two emails and left four voicemails since Saturday with no answer. As this occurs, my inverter flashes an error message and cycles on and off repeatedly, but the warning light remains on." - Kathleen
"In the house we just bought, the system was already there. I have made several attempts to get manufacturing records, warranty details, etc., but no one has ever responded. If I do not know my current output, how can I calculate how much more capacity I will need?" - Ash
"My pole barn's roof mount from Suncommon was installed in late January. This has been in the works for quite some time, since they offered suggestions throughout the pole barn's design process. Due of the tremendous winds we experience on the hilltop location, they really redesigned as they went along. They have slowed down because they are so concerned about getting it perfect. The installation atop an ice metal roof presented its own unique difficulties in January. Also, a huge plus in my book: a clean workplace. It is great pleasure to turn on all the heat pumps and the floor heating while watching the meter run in reverse. Both the electrical and installation teams were local veterans, which made my life easier. I plan to use again in the future." - Kevin
"My new ground-mounted solar array from SunCommon is complete. Everything from the initial conceptualization to the final installation went off without a hitch. It did take longer than anticipated, but that was not a problem at all, as the installation of solar panels is highly reliant on the weather. The job went quickly once they got going; everyone understood their roles. The team was kind and considerate, and I was grateful that they laid down a drop cloth in the kitchen while they were down the basement doing their thing. It is a little thing, I realize. I can hardly wait to use my washer and dryer for the first time with the knowledge that they are powered by renewable energy. It is an amazing sensation. SunCommen comes well recommended from me. Much appreciation." - David
"I am pleased that we settled on SunCommon as our solar energy provider after doing much research and consulting. The staff was helpful, patient, and knowledgeable from the first phone conversation to the completion of the process, allowing you to make an informed decision that was appropriate for your home. It seemed like everyone else was trying to sell you on solar leasing, where they get the tax breaks and you get nothing. In addition, SunCommon was the only provider in our region to provide the Tesla Powerwall 2 battery, which not only lets you track your energy use in real time through the Tesla app, but also lets you save and analyze all of your usage history offline. Due to the extreme weather in January, our installation was stretched out over many weeks, but the staff was always courteous and helpful. They did their work in sub-zero conditions, and both Bryan and Loralee have gone out of their way to explain how to adjust the system parameters for maximum production. The aesthetics of our setup are unmatched, and our present solar production already much exceeds projections. In addition, unlike most competitors, this business employs its own installation staff rather than hiring outside help. That was crucial in determining our course of action. SunCommon is an excellent choice." - Anna
"Amazing process of becoming solar using Suncommon. As a Certified B-Corp, we decided to work with them since we shared their principles. What we felt reflected that truthfully. Full openness and honesty throughout. Be patient, quick to respond, and never late. We have the most up-to-date Tesla array available, which is something our competitors did not have at the time. We are six months in and are seeing positive results financially. I can not stop looking at the Enphase app to see how much more energy we are producing on our own as the days become longer and sunny. Much appreciation to Drew, Grayson, Joe, and the rest of the crew." - Susie
"A 20-panel solar array was just installed on the roof of our new home by the SunCommom team this afternoon. This follows months of discussion and preparation. In every step of the process, Craig, from SunCommon, was patient. As inquiries and problems arose, he promptly sent the information we needed to make a call. Our new home is beautiful, and I can not thank the installation staff enough for all of their hard work. Eric and the rest of the installation staff were great to deal with; they got the job done quickly and efficiently in only two days. In general, I have had a great experience working with SunCommon, and I have no regrets about selecting them as our solar system provider." - Jamie
