Sunlectric Solar Review online reputation

The online reputation of Sunlectric is mostly favorable. Customers have appreciated the company's customer service and product quality. Several critics have highlighted that Sunlectric's goods are trustworthy, reasonably priced, and well-made. In addition, clients have claimed that their customer service representatives are competent, kind, and helpful.
The company knows a lot about solar systems and they also have a lot of experience as electricians.   Also, they talked with the roofer and didn't bother me. I had a really bad time with the other solar company. At our house, they added more panels and more storage space to the system that was already there. The other company kept an eye on the old system. Sun Electric now monitors the activity on both the new and old panels. I really think you should go with this company because you can trust them and you'll be able to relax and enjoy what you paid for. - Melany G.
I'm glad I hired Sunlectric to put up my solar panels. They were very skilled at what they did. The installation was finished on time. When the city inspector came, he also said that they did a great job with the installation. I'm happy with how much money my new panels are saving me. For example, I've sent more power to the grid in the last thirty days than I've used in the last 20 days. I save a lot of money, especially when the weather is nice. I also like that I use solar power, which is better for the world. George and the other people at Sunlectric are great. - George V.
My solar panel system was installed around two years ago. Brian and Eric were thorough in their explanation of the system they recommended, answered all of my concerns, and did not pressure me to invest in it. They provided me with time to make a decision. The system has experienced difficulties. Brian has always been there. He made himself available to answer my enquiries and address my issues. He has been patient, kind, and most importantly, persistent in his problem-solving. I believe the system is now operating smoothly because of Brian. I enjoy the fact that I am helping the Planet. Also, saving a little money will be a good benefit. I'm delighted I went with Sunlectric. Brian will not disappoint you. - Mary A.
Very professional and quick to respond! I had a bad time with a swarm of ants that kept turning off the power to my internet fiber-optics box from an outlet outside. It went off so many times that the reset button no longer worked to fix the problem. Gabe came to check it out and quickly found that the outlet was working and didn't need any repairs. - Nina F.
We really wanted to put solar panels on our old historic home. After getting permission from the staff in charge of the landmark, I asked four different contractors to evaluate and bid on the work. Two companies were ready to take our money and install solar panels, and we were ready to sign up with one of them, but we waited for Sun Solar'sElectric's report first because we were so impressed with the company. Mike Martin called to say that he had spent hours trying to set up the solar panels in a way that would give them the energy they needed, but had not been able to do so. By the time Mike called, I had done more research and really started to wonder if it would work for us. First of all, we are surrounded by big, old trees that give us a lot of shade but also block a lot of the sun. Our roof doesn't face south; it faces east and west. Finally, the roof space is broken up by front and back dormers, leaving not enough room to put enough solar panels to be effective. Because of these things, I knew right away that Mike was being honest. Though we didn't get the panels, Sun Electric turned to be a highly ethical business and I would definately trust them my roof. - Steve M.
My solar system was installed. The city inspectors arrived on and discovered that the installer was using outdated codes and had lowered a few of pannels. They also discovered that one of the containers needed to be labeled with a high power tag, and a conduit needed to be secured with straps. As of today, the only thing the front office has told me is that someone will be out soon to make the necessary repairs. Then I was informed that they are short on electricians to ensure that all electrical work is completed appropriately. They could tell me when they were going to show up. I'm not thrilled with the finishing work at the time. Make sure you find out what the most recent codes are in your town and give that data to the installation personnel. This will save you a lot of trouble. - Angelica F.
I recently purchased solar panels from Sun Electric and am now blaming myself. These were meant to be simple to set up, but the directions were unclear, and it took me hours to do it. I also had to buy other equipment for the installation, which increased the cost. Customer service was also awful. The guy I dealt with was unhelpful and seemed uninterested in my problem. I would not suggest this business to anyone since the entire process was a waste of money and effort. - Rick K.
I'm disappointed I chose this company to install my solar panels. They were kind until they did get paid. Then they stopped taking calls and lied about how the installation would go (for example, we had agreed that nine circuits would be on backup power but they installed only six.) They also didn't  deliver emergency power for the backup battery. There is no warranty service. When they do answer, all I hear are excuses. These people are not to do business with! - Marta G.
It's been a mess since the beginning. The installation of solar panels on the gloomy side of the roof is simply the beginning of their problems. Getting anybody to answer the phone is practically impossible, and getting anyone to fix a problem is impossible because they don't care about resolving issues because they've already been paid.  It's hardly surprise that they are not out of business yet. Get your solar from someone else since this business does not give a $%^*&! - Glen C.
I recently ordered solar panels for my home from Sun Electric and I'm incredibly disappointed. The company promised that I would be able to generate enough electricity to cover all my power needs, but in reality I'm only able to generate a fraction of the energy I need. On top of that, the installation process was incredibly complicated and it took 3 months, instead of one. I'm very unhappy with the product and the customer service. - VIvian O.

SunLectric is a solar power organization with a LinkedIn profile. Although at first glance their page seems well-established and professional, closer inspection shows few subscribers and little content. It's hard to put your faith in a business when you can't even find basic information about them online. Perhaps they are a real company, but their lack of openness raises several red flags. Their LinkedIn profile is not well-liked since it has neither fresh nor unique material. One should be wary of trusting SunLectric, a solar energy firm, because of the company's lack of followers and associated actions.
