"We are really sorry that we went through with the purchase of a solar system from Uprise Solar and do not recommend them to anybody. We were duped by their sales pitch, which guaranteed us a 20 percent tax rebate and led us to believe that we could use this money to pay off our solar system financing. Because this is a non-refundable tax credit and we didn't pay that much in taxes last year, we only received a 15% refund. We need to find out a way to pay off the remaining 25% of our loan, or else our payments would go up by $80 each month. We verified with Sales and they used that method throughout their training. I called Uprise Solar and they said they were not responsible in any way. They made many last-minute adjustments to the installation timing and date. They installed the panel over a month and a half ago, but have yet to turn it on, citing an internal misunderstanding as the reason. Because there isn't enough sunlight to generate power during these two months, we've had to pay an additional $100 on top of our regular electricity bill. Now we're both anxious. I urge you to delay your solar energy purchase until you have gathered additional information. We really lament going with Uprise Solar." - Park Jimin L.

"Worst customer care and service ever The system stopped functioning a month after being installed, and the firm didn't even realize it was broken until we called them. When we finally did get an appointment with a technician, we were told to call back in three weeks." - Roger F.

"Our roof began leaking soon after Uprise Solar installed our solar panels, causing water to flood into our living room. Uprise Solar advised us to engage a third-party contractor and send the results to them since they were swamped with repair requests and would not be able to get to us for at least six weeks after we contacted them. When we had a roofing expert check the roof, he discovered a solar panel bracket that Uprise Solar had installed but never used or taken down. A piece of duct tape and a tile were used to conceal it. The rain obviously made its way through the poorly sealed surface. He documented the damage with photographs, which we then forwarded to Uprise Solar alongside a repair cost estimate of $1500.00 The Legal Escalations Department contacted and agreed to pay for the repairs if we signed a general release. As of today (02/23/23), we still have not gotten the cheque. We can't leave a message for in Legal Escalations since he's stopped checking his email and his voicemail is full. As we are now officially retired and the roof required fixing, we had to use our funds to pay the roofer. We called customer service to see where the check is and were told the case was closed but there was no indication that the check had been sent. We requested that this matter be escalated so that we may learn the status of the check. The Phillipino employee we dealt with only had the customer service number and not the main office's." - Travis O.

"Uprise Solar's ability to repair or replace the solar panel system I leased from them seems to have declined over time. The arc problem warning was the reason I phoned at the start of November 2021. I was told that my solar panels needed to be replaced and that my inverter should be upgraded. We have yet to obtain an appointment to address the issue, and it is now March 2023. When I inquire about the status of my request, I am told that the planning stage has been reached. It took me a while to get here because someone forgot to do something or I didn't fill out the proper paperwork. Such blather. They would have forgotten about me altogether if I hadn't kept calling. I continue to wait patiently. The best thing that could happen is if their warranty (customer service) would at least keep me informed and up to date. Feeling miserable to the point of anger. Given Uprise Solar current customer service, I cannot in good conscience endorse them." - Stefan R.

"This official statement from the firm is so convenient; it says what you want to hear but never gets done. After offering to serve both houses, we were told that only one could be accommodated. Notwithstanding what was promised, the incentive of $2,000 was not provided. They damaged one of the vehicles parked in the driveway but didn't care to inform us in a timely manner. A year later, when I contact them to inquire about the bonus, they require me to see written evidence. If they phone to tell me that, I don't see how I can have it. Such a nightmare." - Omar G.
