Residential solar installations, bespoke designs, and consultations are all available from full-service solar supplier Vivint Solar.
Vivint was established in 2011 with the goal of providing renewable energy that is both easy and inexpensive for households. With its cutting-edge approach to solar, the firm made an early impression in the sector, installing systems in a staggering 500,000 houses throughout the nation in less than ten years. Sunrun was interested in it because of its expansion and bought Vivint in October 2020.

Vivint's rapid growth was largely attributed to its commission-based direct-to-home sales network, which is able to hire a sizable number of salespeople who canvas 22 states as part of Vivint's service region. But how did this approach adhere to the firm's aim of providing easy and inexpensive solar energy? Not well at all.
Due to Vivint's lax sales policies, salespeople were able to promote false ideas like "free solar panels," and many gullible clients signed contracts without realizing they were committing to a 20-year lease with high cancellation costs. To cut a long tale short, thousands of negative Vivint Solar reviews can be found online, and the business is currently being sued for its deceptive sales techniques.
We chose Vivint because we wanted to avoid the expense of solar but still get the benefits of less expensive and cleaner power. Chris L did a wonderful job explaining all the details and regularly contacted us with updates.
We had many obstacles to overcome before we could get the solar panels on our place and Mike (our sales guy) stuck with it until everything was ok’d.
Very professional from the 1st phone call to installation… Don took the reins and handled the HOA and Energy Company… All I had to do was pick an option and an installation date… I was very impressed as to how the data from my electric bill provided the answers to the exact number of solar panels… I found this very refreshing, honest and trustworthy… A few neighbors are interested in your product and options…
I’ve been waiting on a call for over two weeks and still have not received anything. All I hear is COVID delays, they will reach out ASAP. Whatever you do, DO NOT GET VIVINT SOLAR!!!! you will never get your service scheduled and you will speak with robots in their chat service. Absolutely pathetic service and I may need to take legal action to get out of the contract because they are not performing their services as obligated. DO NOT GET VIVINT!!!!
