"The roof inspector that Dixon Power Systems sent to my house was either unreliable or dishonest. I had to get my own roofer to confirm the extent of the work they said was necessary. Since they also perform roofing, I think the subcontractor was pitching themselves as a one-stop shop. I tried to tell Dixon Power Systems about this, but I never heard back from him. Dixon Power Systems has terrible support for its customers. You can do some exploring on their website by clicking on links, but that's about it. Avoid using Dixon Power Systems at all costs. Though attractive, the price may be "too good to be true"." - Brody T.
"After spending $70,000 on a solar roof and 4 energy walls, I didn't even come close to achieving guaranteed performance in kilowatt hours (kWh). Poor controls and empty assurances characterize Dixon Power Systems' customer service. Garbage!!! It's no use having a roof that looks better than others if it doesn't deliver the promised energy savings. They claim to know how to repair it, but they are too busy to come and do it. Three months later, I run into the same problem. After several months of being told I would be contacted by a manager soon, even the managers have given up. You're lucky if you place an order, they send an installer to your house, and everything goes according to plan. If it doesn't work, you are out of luck. Too bad you have to go to court now." - Jesus N.
"The installation process went off without a hitch. However, from there, things got off to a bad start. Six times a Dixon Power Systems technician came unannounced or did not come at all. I was billed, but the online payment mechanism was still in beta. The supposed Dixon Power Systems employee who handled my bill quit the company. I've been waiting seemingly forever, trying to get through to the person at Dixon Power Systems so I could figure it out. Work on this project started in November, but it's still not finished. Although I like the end result, all the hassle is just unbearable. I can't in good conscience recommend them to anyone. Sorry, but it's true." - Carlos V.
"Do Not Don't purchase solar panels from Dixon Power Systems, I repeat! The biggest con ever! When I contacted to inquire as to why my monthly payment was still about $350, she said that the device simply generates energy and does not store any of it, therefore it would do me no good if I do not utilize it during the day while I am at work. When I questioned what I would get for my $20,000 investment in the system, she responded that it would protect the environment and would come in handy whenever I needed to run appliances like my refrigerator or washing machine. Excellent, I just forked out $20,000 to keep my refrigerator running. Disrespectful treatment of customers. Find a different firm that values its clients besides Dixon Power Systems." - Tristan N.
"We signed a deal with Dixon Power Systems to install solar panels on our roof after putting down a $200 payment. After requiring photos of my roof and electrical service panel, doing an inspection (during which we were assured that everything looked OK), and promising to begin installation shortly, Dixon Power Systems almost quadrupled the contract price. I wouldn't have hired that company had I realized it would cost almost twice as much as the next highest bidder. I received a call from Dixon Power Systems informing me of a price increase and urging me to purchase a solar battery. The contract will be resolved via arbitration at this time. I wanted to let you know that the price shown in your contract may not be the same as the amount you pay when you actually have the system put in." - Dominic C.
"Working with Dixon Power is a pleasure. Everyone can count on my approval of their work. Since their inception, they have been focused on educating their students about renewable energy and its impact on the environment. This is progress toward our ultimate goal of giving students and the public access to a working model for demonstration." - Jason L.
"We are very happy that the crew was sent to our house as they did such a great job and were such a pleasure to deal with. The employees were careful not to scratch the walls or garage floor and worked quickly and well. Luis walked me through the program and taught me how to see the current situation. We are in a homeowners association and Luis came with spray paint to make the conduit inconspicuous." - Henry J.
"Numerous solar installation firms have flown in with a crew of workers and slapped on solar in a rush. Without proper instruction, many people damage tile roofs by trampling on them, breaking tiles, and leaving a mess in their wake. Not Dixon Power Systems. The Dixon Power Systems team exceeded expectations in every way. Every worker there received immense satisfaction from their final products and customer satisfaction. We waited for our panels for quite some time, and when other firms made installation promises, we almost bit the bait. I'm glad that we waited. Waiting for quality assurance paid off." - Aidan T.
"I had solar panels installed on my roof today, and it was a wonderful experience. Ian and his crew were the best I have ever worked with. They arrived on time, explained everything that was going to happen, and got to work right away, complying with my requests and overcoming any problems that arose. Nonetheless, it was a pleasure to work with a solid group of people who collaborated and cooperated to successfully complete the project. They have great interactions that make the work fun, which is very important. By the end of the day, the crew had checked the panels and everything was working well! They left with me, a very satisfied customer who was thrilled to have solar panels installed, and we toasted with sparkling water. Working with Dixon Power Systems was easy because of their transparent approach and flexible payment plans. If you are considering installing solar panels for your home, Dixon Power Systems is the place for you." - Adam F.
"Getting to know the staff has been a pleasure, unlike the horror stories I've heard about buying Dixon Power Systems. Everyone is responsive, knows their stuff, and can show you where what goes. The installation went off without a hitch and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I can't help but praise this team and would recommend them to anyone who needs an installation. Much appreciated!" - Diego P.
