"REFAIN FROM USING "YOUR SOLAR SHOP" (See "Update" below). I started working at "Your Solar Shop" on December 2th, 2020. The agreed upon time frame is between eight and twelve weeks. The installation, I was informed, would take two to three days. The average time for a permit is two months. My timeline questions to "Your Solar Shop" were never answered. Their reaction to me was unfavorable. Although the initial salesman, Isaac, was excellent, I never heard back from anybody else at the company. Since Isaac no longer worked for the company, we had less opportunities to catch up. In addition, "Your Solar Shop" finished the project without bringing in any outside help. Three hours away from Pocatello in Boise, Idaho, a subcontractor finished "some installation work" in late March. After two days, they made their way back to Boise. In the two and a half weeks after I last saw them, they had completed the bulk of the job. The contractor stated he was one step away from finishing but needed one more thing and approval. Curiously, they couldn't get going until they had all the necessary approvals. Over five months after signing my contract, in the second week of May, I still have no solar power. I've emailed "Your Solar Shop" twice a week but haven't heard back each time. I keep picking up on the phrase, "oh we are almost done." The company claims that the holdups are the fault of other parties. When I called the county to inquire about the holdup in our permits, I was informed that "Your Solar Shop" had moved. Your Solar Shop's Josh said completion was possible after they fixed the issue. After waiting a while with no response, I called again and was told they were awaiting clearance from Idaho. Keep in mind they informed me they couldn't get going until they had received final approval and permits. This is not a low-cost method. Our two large shops and two-bedroom apartment are all powered by it. I gave the company about $25,000, but to no use. Stay well away from this corporation. If I complete my system, I'm worried about the warranty situation. The company consistently ignores its employees, breaks promises, and disregards standard operating standards. RECENT UPDATE: On July 10, 2021, I successfully deployed my system. Energy generation is great and I couldn't be happier, however there are some problems with the company I hired. Several times, I had to phone them to get things moving. Most calls were made after three tries or more. The State, the City, or the County always seemed to be the bottleneck. Part of that may be true, but whenever I've contacted these groups directly, I've always gotten a prompt and helpful answer, even though I shouldn't have to. It was great that "Your Solar Shop" covered my power costs for three months. The energy savings and solar rebates I would have gotten if the system had been installed earlier as promised are not compensated for by this. Misunderstandings were also reported about solar rebates and the installation procedure. I could have saved a ton of money if they had just installed my system differently. They said they would look into it, but after a month and two emails, three phone calls, and three messages, they still haven't gotten back to me." - Frederick
"A member of the family has received a proposal from this firm. Worse, they fabricated the data and the rewards! Awful, awful encounter." - Joseph
"My electricity bill is not being covered by the system as I was led to believe it would be. My experience with Your Solar Shop was positive overall, with the exception of their guarantee that Dixie Power would reimburse me for the cost of the system. As it happens, it is disappearing. I had to keep harassing the municipal and the electricity provider to speed up the permitting process. In the beginning, 4 of the panels weren't even producing, so they had to be rearranged. But what worries me most is that when people go solar, they tell the solar business they want a system big enough to pay their normal energy bill, but then the system ends up producing less than half of what is frequently consumed, leading to higher monthly electricity costs." - Leonardo
"This firm provided me with excellent service and is without a doubt one of the finest in Utah; they set up my solar energy system and battery backup for me, and I couldn't be happier. Nate Duke is an expert in the system and participates personally in every endeavor. Call them up if you're looking for a solar panel or battery installation. The CUBIX POWER system gets our highest possible recommendation. Once again, I appreciate your superb assistance." - Mary
"I did a lot of research on Cubix Power and other solar panel businesses before deciding to go with them. I looked at over six other vendors before settling on Cubix since their product, pricing, and customer service/support offered the best value. The manner in which I was handled throughout the sales process was just as crucial; Josh was very forthright and honest with me and assisted me in designing the ideal system to meet my requirements. I felt like I was being "Sold" on more than just a product. Cubix was fantastic in helping me get my system up and running, and I can't wait to start reaping the rewards of going solar." - Boris
"After considering solar options for my house in Draper for roughly three years, I was sent to Neil Ely from YourSolarShop for a project quote at our family farm in the St. George region. Neil was very helpful in determining my needs and presenting me with viable solutions. At least four other quotations I had gotten were more expensive than his solution per watt, yet he was able to beat them all. My primary service panel needed to be replaced, however they worked with me and helped cover the expense since the problem was beyond their control during the installation. Exceptional attention to detail and zero push to buy. They also upgraded my setup to microinverters, which were more costly for them but provided a better answer for my situation, at no further cost to me. We have solar panels on both our primary residence and our farm, and we are enjoying the reduced (almost nonexistent) electricity expenses. I wholeheartedly, without any reservations, endorse this firm." - Dennis
"It has been a pleasure dealing with your Solar Shop. Nate Duke and his team have been nothing but kind and helpful throughout our whole experience. Three bids from Solar were received. The other two businesses actively sought to have two battery backups put in place. USS suggested delaying two to three years because of the fast declining costs and rising quality of the underlying technology. Throughout the deal, they seemed to be more forthright and honest. Installing 7.44 kilowatts (kW) of solar panels was an easy decision for us. It has been fantastic using SolarEdge to monitor output on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. But what's even better is knowing that Rocky Mountain Power will keep your monthly cost to a consistent $10 or less. In case you're thinking about "going solar," I can't suggest Your Solar Shop enough.... You probably won't find a better business to collaborate with." - Trevor
"Each member of the staff I spoke with provided excellent service and went out of their way to assist me. They followed up to make sure everything was well and kept me informed as we progressed through each stage. There was also no sales pressure, and they really seemed concerned about helping me and my family out financially. Your Solar Shop has been instrumental in our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and save costs." - Raymond
