"A solar salesperson has just knocked on my home, despite the prominent No Soliciting sign. When I asked him why he had knocked, he answered it was because he would be fired otherwise. The firm basically encourages its salespeople to ignore "do not solicit" signs and harass the public." - Melissa
"My monthly electric bill averaged about $160. This involves maintaining my spa and my two stores. Erica blatantly lied, and dishonesty is very unacceptable. I owe $40.000. With electricity costs ranging from $60 to $395 each month. Despite Eric's assurances, I was charged $526 for the first month's worth of electricity after the installation was completed. They've since assured me that adding three additional panels won't hurt. If your lowest monthly payment is less than $65 as mine is, solar panels probably aren't worth the investment. Pre-panels, my electricity costs were $160. So, who exactly is handling the calculations there? My trees were pruned. Instead of fixing my yard, they butchered it. I've never had such a strong desire to file a lawsuit against a business. But all they want to do is make me purchase more and more solar panels. As a result, I can provide no encouragement. Except that it's bad news all around. " - David
"Because I am a confused elderly guy, I fell for their scam and signed a contract that really costs me two to two and a half times as much as I was paying the electricity provider. I'm on CPAP and an oxygen generator, and it took them a whole year to get me a battery that would last for 10 hours. They promised to provide me installation instructions but never did. The way Eric treated me was horrible. aggressive and dishonest. Because of the lies they told me, I am now struggling to make ends meet on Social Security." - Helen
"Our solar output has dropped dramatically after just 3 years. We contacted the firm regarding the panels' warranty, but we never heard back from them again. Over the last two weeks, we have repeatedly reached out through phone and email with no answer. You should stay far away from this firm." - Mike
"They don't care about customer satisfaction enough to restore broken merchandise. We discovered that it was ridiculously expensive. David Selleck, the company's elusive salesperson, has also gone without a trace. The new solar star contracts them. New Star consistently ignores our calls and hangs up on us. Don't make the same mistake we did and purchase from them!" - Joseph
"If you're in the market for solar panels, in my view you should obtain a second opinion. After factoring in tax credits ($2,000 from the state and $7,000 from the federal government), our final out-of-pocket cost was about $15,000. The first price tag we were given was $34 thousand by the very showy Solar One for a smaller, over-designed system. Solaroo, a third firm, even provided us a good quotation and promised to meet or surpass any other estimate we received. We chose New Star Solar because they were the only company that gave us a reliable estimate of both the scope of work and the associated costs. For the last several months, we've had everything set up and running well. If it is not already clear, you will quickly learn that monthly solar energy production fluctuates considerably. The first full month we had was January. We have seen the difference it can make on our energy bills ($80 -> $17) already, since output in February quadrupled that of January, and production in March is well on its way to double that of February. But in June through August of 2016 (!!! ), when RMP's price tiers cost us $150-$300/month, we will notice the actual savings. Our installation went off without a hitch thanks to New Star Solar's meticulous planning. Everything we needed to claim our tax credits had been prepared for us, down to the instructions. They have a beautiful design as well. What a fantastic buy!" - Dalton
"Choosing to go solar was a breeze thanks to New Star Solar. The whole process was simple, and the installation was completed quickly and efficiently. When it comes to the hardware and set-up, they spare no expense. They weren't done until they made sure I was happy with the setup. A reliable business partner with whom to collaborate. I would suggest it to anybody who is curious about whether or not solar energy would be a good match for their needs." - Michael
"I took the plunge and installed solar panels, and now my life is perfect. I coordinated the final design and installation with James and Taylor (their actual names). It seemed like their main concern throughout was making sure I was well-informed and happy with the progress being made. In addition to that, they did a fantastic job installing my new system in my house. Over the last month that my 12 kilowatt system has been operational, I have monitored its power output. The outcomes have been phenomenal. During a 10-day stretch in July when temperatures were above 100 degrees, my system generated enough energy to operate my air conditioner while also pushing electricity back to the grid. New Star Solar has made me very happy. Anyone in need of a solar energy system for their house or company has my highest recommendation." - Chris
"The team at New Star Solar has been great to work with. In general, I avoid engaging with solicitors, but there was something about Austin that compelled me to talk to him when he approached me in my front yard. What the heck, I thought, and asked for a sales rep to get in touch with me. Next, I have a chat with Matt. He was the nicest person I've ever met. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and patiently, and I finally felt like I understood what he was talking about. While I'm sure he wanted the sale as much as I did (as most salespeople do), I never felt any kind of pressure from him to purchase solar panels. I decided to go through with it right then and there thanks to Matt's low-pressure sales technique, and it's been great. Everyone I've ever dealt with at New Star has been fantastic. They had to excavate a hole in my flower garden, and in the process, they damaged a sprinkler pipe, causing it to leak. I contacted Matt and he immediately took care of the situation. The owner came by the following day and mended the pipe, going so far as to fasten the pipe for me to make it more sturdy, since he knew I would be in the area. I promise you won't be disappointed if you choose New Star Solar as your solar energy provider. I was going to write a glowing review of New Star Solar after my fantastic experience with them, however I got too pumped up to take photographs of my panel first. If I remember, I'll put them in." - Alan
"A neighbor suggested New Star, and it turned out to be a good choice. Despite the fact that they don't often install what we asked, they made an exception for us since we knew precisely what system and panels we wanted (having had solar on our previous house out of state). The setup process was fast and easy. They assisted us with filing for refunds as well. They alerted us to the fact that our system wasn't reading properly and helped us resolve the issue (which was really on our end). We were relieved to hear from them since we had no idea there was an issue. I think you'll love New Star." - Thomas
facebook.com The arrangement of the website is expert and attractive to the eye. The installation of a solar panel is clearly seen in the cover shot, which demonstrates the company's orientation. Brand awareness is assured by the presence of the New Star Solar emblem in the avatar. The page has over 400 likes and a respectable number of followers. Updates, news stories, and promotional material pertaining to solar energy are often posted by New Star Solar, which seems to have a constant content strategy. Posts provide a range of content types to captivate your audience since they include text, graphics, and video. The majority of postings get a few likes and comments, but sometimes there is little to no interaction. Customers may share their experiences in the page's review and suggestion area. Potential clients are more likely to trust you thanks to this feature. On occasion, New Star Solar posts messages about local events, environmental causes, and news regarding renewable energy. Although there are a lot of videos on the website, they aren't posted there very often. Since solar installations are mostly visual, adding additional video material may improve engagement and effectively demonstrate how they operate. Overall, New Star Solar's Facebook page provides a credible image and has a consistent content approach. In terms of boosting interaction, adding more video material, and giving a more precise picture of page reach and subscribers, there is still potential for development. |
