"Due to the extended wait time, I am only able to provide feedback on the installation and procedure. Honestly, dealing with Bright Eye has been a nightmare. That was the most unprofessional and unhelpful business I've ever worked with. The contact there, Yvette Turner, is the least professional person I have ever encountered. How the individual is still employed at Bright Eye is beyond me. Considering how much we paid for this system, I would have terminated our agreement if it hadn't already been placed on my roof. Although the company's owner is kind and has been fixing the most pressing problems we've had, we've had trouble getting in touch with anybody there when we really needed to. Although they are based in Pennsylvania, this business does service Maryland; nevertheless, residents of Frederick will need to allow for longer than usual for the permitting procedure due to the city's very stringent electrical code. For the best results, team up with a solar energy business that has been operating in your region for some time and is familiar with the climate there." - Jon
"I chose BrightEye Solar after talking to every solar business I could find online. BrightEye provided a longer "production guarantee" than other vendors, so I picked them. The sales agent Josh was responsive and answered my questions quickly, but after I signed the contract, he disappeared (common for salesmen) and I felt left in the dark about the next steps in the process. I had to reach out to figure out the next steps and installation timeframe. After permission delays, the installers were polite and performed a wonderful job, even though they made a mess. The office manager, Yvette, reached out to me and performed a site visit to establish a plan to remedy the problem. After a few weeks, they fixed the issue, which was great and appreciated. The system looks beautiful compared to comparable solar-paneled houses, and BrightEye's warranties and manufacturing assurance make me feel comfortable about my selection. I wish the firm was more responsive, but they listened and helped me resolve my issues. I would suggest BrightEye, however any solar installation will have delays and unknowns that need confidence and may require more labor from the homeowner than thought. The firm owner is friendly and has been fixing the primary difficulties we had, but no one responds emails or calls urgently. This PA-based firm covers Maryland, however Frederick's electrical permits are different from other counties/states, so expect a long permitting procedure. To avoid surprises, choose a local solar firm with experience." - Christopher
"This contractor is the worst I've ever dealt with. I was prepared to pay through the nose for an off-grid hybrid setup. The project was doomed to fail from the outset. Lackluster construction and ineffective teamwork. Last but not least, I questioned them about the compatibility of my generator with the solar panels, and they seemed unprepared to address my inquiries. They responded with "we will do it as a grid tie" and an inconsequential cash return. Since the reimbursement was so little, the cost to connect to the grid became absurdly exorbitant, and the system would take 40 years to pay for itself. Avoid working with unreliable contractors." - Carl
"We are sorry to hear that you feel this way about Cam's former employer, who, as of today, terminated his employment with him owing to insubordination and anger management difficulties. I hope that everything works out well for you in all of your future endeavors." - Jeff

"Dan Degler, a solar consultant, did a fantastic job of describing the Bright Eye Solar System. The group who set up the system was great to deal with; they were polite and quick. We also loved how quickly everyone on staff responded to our queries. This is a firm we would confidently endorse." - Folmer
"Recently, I had a solar power system from Bright Eye Solar installed on my roof. All my questions were answered promptly and thoroughly by the helpful sales associates. The installation went well, and the system began generating electricity one week after work began. I received three competitive bids for this project, but they ultimately won out because of the 5-year system production guarantee they provided. Everything was handled by Bright Eye Solar, and I couldn't be happier!" - Chub
"I choose Bright Eye Solar after looking at several different businesses, both big and small. I choose the best option. The reps were helpful and kind throughout the whole process, from the initial information collection to the final cost analysis and system design. There was zero pressure on me to make a decision. SRECs, finance, equipment, and installation were all covered in detail by Bright Eye Solar. My experience with Bright Eye Solar's collaboration with PP&L and the city's construction inspector was positive. Throughout the duration of the project, representatives keep in regular contact by email and phone calls, providing information at regular intervals. The efficiency of my 43-panel setup has far beyond my expectations. I owe my gratitude to Bright Eye Solar's staff." - Mike
"In 2016, we made a purchase with Bright Eye for a full solar power installation. We have produced over 30 MW of power since we began operations. The fact that we were not working with a huge corporation in either the United States or China made our initial impression of Bright Eye quite favorable. To assess potential electricity production, Jim physically climbed onto our roof using measuring devices. Two helpful technicians finished the installation in record time, and their work was flawless. One of our completed rooms sprang a leak from the roof during Hurricane IDA. We chose to have Bright Eye check it out since our roof was just 5 years old. A solar panel-unrelated issue was discovered and fixed the next morning by Jim and the installation. We refer to it as SERVICE. It's now entertaining to tear up the monthly utility bill. expectations. I owe my gratitude to Bright Eye Solar's staff." - Alan
"Bright Eye Solar was one of several firms I compared prices with before making the decision to go solar. Bright Eye's solar consultant, Josh Sheppard, was a pleasure to work with. Because solar panels are so expensive, I asked Josh to help me get the most for my money. The system installation took longer than I had anticipated, but that's acceptable given the current epidemic and weather conditions. In the end, it all comes down to a simple question: Is it worth it? Although I was occasionally irritated by the lengthy installation process and the system's initial lack of functionality (neither of which were the fault of Bright Eye; rather, it was the Generac Inverters' fault), the company went above and beyond to optimize my system at no extra cost by providing five PV links. I am thrilled with the system's performance and want to have more Generac PWRcell batteries installed by the firm in the future. I'm happy to have worked with a neighborhood firm since I think it's important to support small businesses. It solved an issue that had nothing to do with the photovoltaic cells. We refer to it as SERVICE. It's now entertaining to tear up the monthly utility bill. expectations. I owe my gratitude to Bright Eye Solar's staff." - Trini
