"Green Street Solar's staff has exceeded my expectations. My salesman, Jeff Irwin, was really helpful and clear in his explanations. He also answers my calls and emails quite quickly. Beth Blake, who works in the office, is wonderful to work with. Six men spent five hours installing my 8.4 kilowatt system and they were all extremely skilled and quick. They are not independent contractors but rather full-time employees of Green Street who contribute to the GSS operation. The Department of Environmental Conservation evaluated the installation the next day, and two days later they came out and placed my new, NET meter, which measures the difference between the power I use and the electricity I generate. When I was all packed and ready to leave Green Street, I sent an SMS to the proprietor. Within minutes of Russell connecting my system to the Fronius inverter app, I was producing power. The following day was bright and sunny, and the system was operating at 68% of its capacity at 9 a.m. in the middle of January (when the sun is low in the sky). Really fantastic! All day long, I was producing more energy than I was consuming, and my meter reflected that. It remained overcast for the following two days, so my battery life dropped to roughly 10%. My summer credit production, though, ought to be plenty to get me through the next winter. I also had them put in a plug for when I finally get around to buying an electric vehicle. Green Street Solar had the best ratings across the board, so that is why I went with them. One member of Angie's List has a perfect score of 1. However, this guy's system was installed a decade ago, and I really doubt that they are the appropriate firm since GSS did not exist back then. Green Street Energy in New York City seems to be the company he has in mind. If you want to start lowering your monthly energy costs, I strongly suggest getting in touch with the Green Street Solar crew. My payback period will be about 10 years if electricity prices remain stable. My rate increased by 36% last year, so I expect to see a return on investment in a much shorter amount of time." - Becky
"Working with Green Street Solar was a breeze because of how prompt, reliable, and kind they were. Our huge home array is mounted on our barn's metal roof. The installers performed an excellent job of ensuring sure the roof was watertight. It took 3 days to build and a 350-foot dig to connect to the meter, but after it was done, everything went well. Russell spent a lot of time with us before, during, and after the installation to answer any and all questions we had. State and federal tax incentives, as well as the opportunity to sell SRECs, were made available to eligible participants. Absolutely necessary. Strong and seasoned businesspeople." - Marcia
"Green Street Solar was the clear winner over the firm owned by our builder and highly recommended to us. The contractor said that since we were constructing with them, their bid already included in a $10,000 reduction. In contrast, Green Street Solar was 35% cheaper. Moreover, after looking into the many panels available, Green Street Solar decided to go with the top-rated panel (& produced in the USA, Q-Cell). While the construction firm was selling a Chinese-made imitation of a popular brand. We were up and running in a matter of days after the system was installed in a single day. After three months, our energy production has considerably outpaced our consumption. We could not be more pleased with our choice to work with Green Street Solar." - Andrea
"Because our son had Green Street Solar build a system at his house, we decided to go with them. Both the work and the pricing he was able to get wowed us. The quotation and paperwork we were provided were very precise and comprehensive. Our system has served us well so far, and we are pleased with the value we have gained for our investment. If you are thinking about getting a solar energy system put on your house or business, this is the firm to go with." -Lawrence
"Russell Pfaller, a Green Street representative, was knowledgeable and helpful in setting up online feedback on the system's performance. Our new system was installed by Green Street on a Monday, passed the electrical inspection on Tuesday, and the new meter was put in by Lewes BPW the following Wednesday. Except for a little electrical wiring issue with our dryer, which Green Street promptly fixed, everything went well. Those interested in solar energy, have a look at this company." - Hamlet
