"For the office, I bought three battery combiners, all of which serve the same function. One was broken right out of the box, but the other two performed well. My calls and texts to Solar Biz were never responded. Our HR department eventually reached out to them, and now they want us to send them the broken blender in the mail. Solar Biz has opted to not fulfill its one-year warranty, but they have not provided any explanation. I normally go out of my way to back locally owned and operated green enterprises, but I won't be patronizing this one again." - Michael
"Several batteries from Solar Biz were purchased online. When placing an online order, the customer is presented with many delivery alternatives. Two-day was one of the options. Since I needed them immediately, this worked out well. Filling out the online order form was a breeze. The option for two days was what I went with. My delivery address, the choice of two-day shipping, and the final total before clicking "submit order" all seemed correct. The order came to roughly $300 total. The following day, I received an email explaining why my purchase will be delayed by another day. I was quoted an extra $300 for delivery services. Yes, three hundred bucks. It takes about a week for delivery, I was told. Not even close to the convenience of 2-day air delivery to my home. I was given the option of providing my own shipment, which meant I would have to pay an extra $18 for gas and time to drive to a battery distributor outside of my area. No one ever explained to me why it was more expensive if I arranged for my own trucking. The specified location was 60 miles distant. I spent three hours on that today. Carrie, the person with whom I had the most contact, was both courteous and informative in our exchanges. It wasn't her fault, and she did everything she could to make things right for the next customer. Due to Solar Biz's convenient online purchasing and speedy home delivery, I placed an order with them. These batteries were very pricey, though, considering how much time I wasted today." - Steve
"It's unbelievable that this company actually exists. When I called in to place an order, the operator asked me to hold while she ran some checks. I'll get in touch with you as soon as I can. An hour goes by as I wait. When I tried to reschedule, I was told the individual I had placed my order with was in the middle of a call. What? I say that I didn't eat everything on my plate. I'm informed I'll get a call from her as soon as she's done. The remainder of the day will be uneventful. A few days later, I received an email informing me that an invoice had been generated and that I could pay via PayPal. What? Okay, what the heck is going on with her. Who is sending me an invoice, and what happened to the person I was placing the order with? This is not how a business should be handled, therefore I am disclosing my experience in the hopes that it may help others avoid the same fate. If they are authentic, I will not be sending any money to their firm." - Matt
"The Solar Biz provided me with excellent service at a reasonable price. Patty was really nice and helpful when I called her. I have no emotional investment in the 2011 dispute between the reviewer and the establishment. I knew there was more to the story when they flooded sites like Yelp with bad reviews all referencing the same problem. When I asked Patty about the disagreement, she provided some background information.I found her account believable and understood why the situation was not black and white. I say you give The Solar Biz a go and see what you think for yourself. I think you'll find this to your satisfaction." - Nick
"The solar company designed and supplied a reasonably cost standalone power supply. Excellent work has been produced, and any technical queries have been answered promptly." -Kelley
"The international shipping review process was the most stringent I've ever encountered. Instead of just taking things off the ship and sending them to me, Solar-Biz examined and photographed everything first. Have responded to and helped me with every inquiry I've had about getting my solar energy system up and running to power my home. Because most of us don't understand the financial strain of running a business, Solar-Biz has to make due with a small crew. If you're thinking of starting a solar power project, you need to get in touch with the folks at thesolarbiz.com. They have a staff of qualified professionals that can help you with any solar-related endeavor. It may be a long and arduous road to providing alternatives to fossil fuels. As a result of Solar-Biz" - Dennis
