"The payment was made as anticipated. The on-field help was helpful. The panels seem to operate well. The office and I communicated slowly and poorly. They provide directions that are unclear, difficult to grasp, or just plain wrong." - Carilyn
"Our home's solar energy system was set up in SLO by AM Sun Solar. The design and permission procedure, which was supposed to take up to 4 months, was completed by the end of the 5th month. On the third day, one of our panels partly failed. Never before have I had a corporation respond to an installation issue so slowly and ineffectively. After three months, AM Sun Solar claims that they are dependent on the manufacturer to approve and send a replacement panel. The business need to have assumed responsibility, acquired and installed a replacement panel, and taken care of the warranty/refund problem themselves. What warranty service could be like in the future makes me cringe." - Always partly cloudy
"The system performed well the first year, but after that, our monthly expenses increased from $500 to $800. Our annual bill for the second year was $ 380.00. In order to address several mistakes, we had trouble getting in contact with the owner. Another solar contractor that we had to pay came out to evaluate our system, and he discovered quite a few issues. After we eventually got in touch with the state licensing board, he showed up and made some adjustments. The converter boxes had degraded and were no longer operating correctly. He modified them for us, and the new configuration works much better. Our initial deal specified that we would get 54 panels, however we only received 42. He said it was as a result of providing us with a higher-quality panel. They were meant to be built on a patio, but they were only mounted on our home at the last minute. Now, he said that was all he could do for us." - Anonymous
"Although the salesman was fast to reply, he sent us to someone else who set up a visitation time and phoned 10 minutes later to cancel due to being overbooked and too busy. She rescheduled for today, but she didn't show up, didn't return our calls, and hasn't been in touch with us since. Given the impending switch to NEM 3.0, we understand that every solar provider is busy, but the majority are asking for fundamental details and offering quotations prior to site inspections, and they do show up when planned. This casts a negative light on the business that was highly recommended." - Monica I.
"Within days of our contact, they came out and gave us a strategy for our system. Installation was completed well and swiftly. We were quite happy with everything, including the cleaning. Everyone was really kind and seemed to genuinely care about how well the task went. This business has my highest recommendation." - Roda House
"The solar installation went off without a hitch. When they stated they would, AM Sun Solar delivered on their promise. The installation was done well, and the system is working as it should. Very happy with the outcomes. Yes, I do suggest them to friends." - doughouse
"Mike Shaheen, a sales specialist for AM Sun Solar, discussed the idea and laid out the steps so clearly that we were completely on board when the installation process started. Every time we open the PGE monthly account and see that modest service charge, we are reminded of how smoothly the installation went. I should also mention how comforting it is that they constantly check the panels." - Clank
"After receiving quotations from many solar energy providers, AM Solar stood out as the most approachable, educated, and affordable option. The procedure went quickly, painlessly, and smoothly. Unless you attempt to grasp PG&E and the billing system, aggregating solar is relatively straightforward. Considering that solar energy has been around for a while, I believe they are now getting it! Overall, AM Solar is a well-established business with a no-pressure sales team. Excellent experience, and I wholeheartedly endorse AM Solar!" - Sdranch
"The whole procedure, from obtaining a permit to negotiating with the neighborhood electric company to the contractor who changed my electric panel, was smoothly managed by AM Sun. It was a simple and gratifying process. Even after the installation was finished, they continued to keep an eye on my output. A few weeks later, they detected that the inverter wasn't functioning since there was a power outage nearby, so they came and rectified it because I wouldn't have seen it on my own. I heartily endorse AM sun." - sallygordon
