"My system, which is four years old, quit working. I've attempted to get in touch with them about this, but all I get is an answering machine. I receive no callbacks or emails in return. The answering machine disconnected me today. I would never advocate for this business." - Ross
"The worst company in the solar sector; misinformed sales; shoddy installation (piping done twice; I have pictures to prove it); faulty wiring system twice rewired by different technicians; and my electrical bill has not changed; I still pay an average of $140.00 per month, and much more in the summer. I tried to reach the firm by phone and email, but there was no response, so I was forced to file a lawsuit to get the repairs and reimbursement I needed." - samson
"For more than three and a half years, I have only had issues with this firm. Use this company not. It took more than 20 months of battling for them to finally complete all the repairs after they destroyed my brand-new roof and caused water damage to the interior of my home. Their roofer, RAR (relax assured roofing) of NY and Brooklyn, damaged my property to the tune of close to $1000.00, and they won't pay to repair it or finish the job. The owner has the money to buy a new Porsche 911 but not enough to cover the damage. Indeed, RAR and Amergy should be avoided at all costs. A representative from Amergy informed me that because of improper installation, doing all the repairs is expensive for them. PLEASE AVOID USING THIS COMPANY!" - W J F
"My choice to sign with Amergy was the worst one I've ever made. Sales representatives will misrepresent rebates and referral fees. Consumer Assistance Representatives are limited to taking messages and nothing else (which are very rarely answered). Installing the panels and inverters took 5 months in total. They seldom ever show up for appointments." - phil lee
"HORRIBLE!! The business is a fraud. In January, I signed a contract. THEY STILL DON'T RETURN MY CALLS AFTER 7 MONTHS. I WOULD NOT SUGGESTS ANYONE DO THIS. BEST OFF WITH ANYONE ELSE. SCARIEST COMPANY OUT THERE."- PHIL JONES
"Friendly staff, quick installation, and system that performs as advertised. Following my solar payment, my monthly electric bill is only $11. The sales representative is a kind person who constantly responds to my calls and texts. Everything turned out because they did what they said they would do. They did need to return once to address a minor issue, but the fact that they did so without requesting any payment from me tells me that they are a reputable business." - Ronald43
"Accomplishes just what the sales representative promised it would, plus the New York State Tax Credit and property tax exemption turned this become a true winner. Having had the system up for a time now" - CraigW32
"Since my solar panels were installed a few years ago, I've been happy with my system. I'm sceptical about anything, therefore I always wait a long time before writing evaluations in case something goes wrong. When I initially started researching solar, I had a number of installers come to my property, and I felt confident picking Amergy. The major reason I went solar was to reduce my monthly power cost as much as possible (I now only pay $10). They were polite in and around my home, and they promptly responded to all of my inquiries during the permitting process. I haven't had any problems with any aspect of the installation. These were my top three worries, I told them. Amergy has earned a 5-star rating from me for their professionalism, timeliness, and installation quality." - Anne M
"I've been pleased with my new solar project much. From the beginning, Amergy Solar was highly professional. I really enjoy watching the reduction meter spin backwards at a 4x quicker rate. Anybody looking to save their energy expenses and do their part for the environment should check out Amergy Solar, in my opinion." - Whist
"Finally, my husband and I relocated to a solar-ready home last year. In November, we had our system installed, and we couldn't be more pleased. When we first started shopping, we only considered renting since we did not want to make another significant investment after having recently bought our house. The Amergy salesman gave us ownership alternatives that needed no cash outlay and allowed us to keep all the rewards. Before and during the installation, we had a lot of questions, and our sales guy was really helpful and knowledgable. Our solar array looks fantastic with its stark black panels on the front of the home thanks to the excellent installation staff. We couldn't be happier to have switched to solar now that spring has here!" - Finney
