"Said what they had to in order to close the deal. It took much too long, and I have yet to get the cash payment that was promised to me three months ago. One payment has been sent my me! No matter how obvious it seems, put everything into writing." - Paul R.
"I've used them twice for major projects. The installation on my Austin home went off without a hitch, so when I moved to my new house with a solar carport, I didn't think twice about hiring them to do the bigger job. The 38-panel array, which also included a rain panel to collect water for the tank, was expected to be finished in 8 weeks. In the end, it took 8 months. That's about a quarter as long as it took to build the Hoover Dam. The firm did not have the necessary skills in-house to construct the carport structure, therefore outside help was required. When it was finished, a solar panel was blown off by a wind speed of just 40 miles per hour, although being certified for 125. The locals had forgotten about the rain panels until they were reminded of them. All 38 panels had to be taken down and replaced since they had been put up backward. I feel that I was not just misinformed, but outright lied to about several parts of this enterprise. I cannot trust them to get the work done properly and on schedule." - Louis C.
"I was quoted and paid for a 9 mW system, but only received 7 mW. It took a lot of talking to get something simple done. Their "completed" product didn't even have a functional system. Didn't even double-check that data was being sent before declaring completion. With them, EVERYTHING was a struggle. The whole unit was put in the incorrect location on the roof. Stay far away from these people. Although they assured me that they would submit the necessary rebate paperwork, they failed to do so, and I was left to deal with the local government on my own. After several hours of labor and observing them, they still haven't done the bare minimum that I was paying for." - Michael B.
"A 16kw array had a panel break shortly after being installed successfully. After reporting it and Native ruling it was a warranty issue rather than due to impact, I have been pursuing them for months. Every email I've sent has been met with the same unfulfilled promise." - George E.
"About three years ago, they took advantage of NRG's solar leasing program and set up their system. There were additional issues with the installation, and calling them just didn't cut it. Finally, I had to leave a nasty review to get their attention. After 2 years, the system's production has significantly decreased. (since February 2017). NRG has been attempting to contact Native, so I contacted them. One of NRG or Native Americans is the problem. (NRG blames Native and now they advised me to directly contact Native). After several phone calls and voicemails with no answer, I have to agree with NRG. Try to avoid being near it. The installation was satisfactory, however, there are at least two issues. First, locus monitoring shows that the inverter is only producing around a third of its rated power. Second, an electrical outlet that was supposed to be there in case the power went out during the day has never been replaced, so I have no way to utilize it (either to directly obtain power or to use my own backup batteries). Not expecting much success, but maybe this review will encourage them to pay notice to the problem." - Oliver G.
"When it came to defining, planning, and executing our PV solar system, Native, Inc. performed an outstanding job. My wife and I want to thank our salesman, for her insightful analysis of our home's requirements that took into account our specific wants and demands as well as those of our electric company. (PEC). Since day one, there have been zero hiccups with the system. The staff from Native that came to our house to complete the installation made many visits to ensure that all of our requirements were met. I have nothing but praise for this process and would suggest Native, Inc. without reservation." - John K.
"The business culture at Native is fantastic. Everyone at Native has a commitment to customer service and a willingness to pitch in and find solutions to issues. Although hiccups are inevitable in every project, Native never lost sight of making sure they delivered as promised. The old adage says something like, "Good things come to those who wait." And a pleasant conclusion it was!" - Liam J.
"Over a year has passed since Native put my solar panels, and I couldn't be happier with their work. My sales rep was extremely well-versed in the various packages and deals he presented. My power bills have been consistently negative ever since the installation. In a word: yes!" - Dylan F.
"Price-wise and quality-wise, Native was a strong contender. After comparing three different quotations, I decided on Native...They were great to deal with; I'm a retired engineer, and they made everything obvious and had no surprises. Instead of building electrical conduit runs along the roof/shingles, Native delivered the solar panels I chose and ran the wiring in the attic, per my request. The installation went well and was completed on schedule. The almost two years of trouble-free operation of our system's 30 roof-mounted solar panels...When the sun is shining, we are generating power.... It's great to have an energy cost that's so cheap each month. Since there is no need to store the energy we make and don't end up utilizing, some months we actually end up with an electrical credit. Despite the lack of local incentives, Native was able to get a refund from an out-of-town firm that supports residential solar once the installation was complete and the system produced as expected. No matter how big or little your solar system is, I highly suggest Native. Our method has been working out well for us...! Soak up all the rays, please!" - Kane V.
"When I first began the process, I hired a different installer who took my money but did nothing to move the installation process along. After learning the hard way that the roof truss's intended load capacity was causing problems, the firm stopped responding to my inquiries and my installation window closed without my being eligible for reimbursement. When I bumped into Kevin at Native, he reassured me that my unpleasant experience was an exception and that Native will resolve the problem at hand without my participation. They came up with a plan that worked for me and put my mind at ease about the roof truss's ability to support the weight of the roof. While there was one small communication problem that resulted in an inadequate amount of parts being delivered to installation, this was easily remedied over the phone, and the rest of the process went off without a hitch." - James O.
