"Although we are pleased with the technology, dealing with the firm is a nightmare. Once you've paid, customer support is a nightmare. After installation and payment, you'll need some luck to receive assistance." - Michael H.
"For maintenance on your solar heating system, I advise looking for a different company in the North Bay. The year before to our purchase, this business placed solar hot water pool heater panels on the home. According to them, the warranty was transferred to the new owners. We sought to utilize them for repair while also using them for the Spring startup and Winter shutdown. The panels were improperly attached to the pipes during the first starting. They had abandoned some broken pipes after replacing another set of panels with their own installation. It took some convincing to get them to change their mind when they provided me an estimate to fix their mistake. On the second restart, they declared that the panels had leaks. They did not continue with the repairs. They told me they were no longer honoring the warranty when I contacted to inquire about a timeframe for repairs. (still covered under the term). They said that they couldn't be fixed, so they issued me an invoice for replacing the leaking panels. The panels could then be fixed rather than replaced, which I was able to do. Despite the fact that I had already paid for startup and winterization in February, they had now received a payment request. They seem to have a staffing and revenue shortfall, forcing them to charge for everything, even services that have previously been compensated for and are deserved." - Stiles W.
"After a year of problems and a $2,500 lien on our home that Bryan Raymond, the owner, promised to pay, I would not suggest this business. Our roof was repeatedly jeopardized during a disorganized and hurried installation in 2019. Our property was thereafter subject to a lien when Diablo Solar sent its contractor. The Small Claims Court is probably in order now." - Lindsay O.
"They're a bunch of jerks. I scheduled a solar consultation at my house with Matt, which went well. Within the next days, he promised to provide a quotation. Then complete quiet followed. Calls and emails seeking clarification were not returned. And no, I did not accidentally put the quotation in my spam folder. I'm not sure what more to say save that this was very unprofessional, particularly coming from a company that has apparently been operating for decades. Do not waste your time with these fools if you value your time." - Jeff B.
"Running, Forrest! Worst encounter ever! They quickly collected my deposit. then quite hard to contact. They don't respond to emails or texts. I really called every department on their main line and left messages. They arrive at your residence without a scheduled visit. Simply a terrible experience, and I don't suggest them!" - Lynn C.
"This week, Diablo Solar finished an intricate installation on my three-story home. Two weeks ago, the panels and batteries were installed, but it required some time to complete the remaining few tasks. Although their communication was sometimes unsatisfactory, I'm still really happy overall. They didn't properly establish expectations with me at the beginning of the install, and they didn't let me know earlier this week that they would be stopping by to complete the final few items. However, they do excellent job; the conduit lines are very clean, and the panels look fantastic on my roof. Salutations to Anton, Chris, Zach, Travis, and Melvin. Regards for the fantastic installation and working with me! As a consequence, my home's energy bills have already decreased by 50%!" - David B.
"Swan Pools, the company that built my pool, suggested Diablo Solar to me. It was a really great experience from beginning to end. I collaborated with a designer and agent named Dave Hampton. Because he was close by in Benicia and had both pool solar and PV solar, just as I was looking for, the firm sent me in his direction. He was trustworthy and open in his communication, and I instantly felt at ease with him. Thanks to Dave and the crew for a great process and result. Without a doubt, I suggest Diablo Solar highly!" - Don D.
"Diablo alone was really competent. They gave us a thorough price before setting up an appointment to repair our pool's solar panels. In order to restore dry rotted joints caused by roof leaking, they had to give emergency assistance to remove the panels. The service crew excelled. We offer them a five-star rating and strongly advise using them for any solar work you may be considering." - Francis S.
"Since installing our pool in 2016, we have been utilizing this firm. They provide excellent management and service. Since they continue to provide excellent service after the transaction, I would heartily recommend them." - Margo L.
"They provided me with the finest and most economical alternative for fixing my pool system, arrived on time, and displayed excellent skills. They also went above and above what I had requested by painting the outdated pipes to seem brand-new and removing some storm-damaged window trim from the roof. Superb attire!" - Judy B.
