"In August, Solar Plexus contacted me to let me know that the installation of the battery and sub panel will take place on September 6. To ensure that I would be available at home, they left many messages and sent several email reminders. The sixth of September came and went with no word from Solar Plexus. Nothing could be installed until the inspection was completed, which we planned for September 12 after I contacted. Once again, Solar Plexus failed to appear. Today, September 26th, was another planned appointment, and nothing happened." - Nikolas O.
"Six months after I signed, this firm has no right to exist. They got panels put but the inspection failed so they had to take them down. Now they're reporting they discovered a breaker needed replacing, even though the problem with the breaker had been discovered during the first consultation in October. Stay away from this terrible business. Don't make the same mistake I made and not use a local service." - Bruce W.
"The poor handling of this matter from the start has cost me well over a thousand dollars. Their worker took months to submit my inspection. My panels were put on July 17, 2020, however they weren't activated until January 15, 2021. They continually let us down with their tardiness. In the initial round of inspections, no one from Solar Plexus showed up, so the city inspector left a note to let me know he'd been by. A worker came up for the second inspection, but they were missing necessary documents, so the municipal inspector had to leave. Several workers have blatantly lied to me. My supervisors and bosses have repeatedly promised to call me back, but they never do. I was expected to get a call from higher ups, but I never did. I have sworn off doing business with them and will make sure none of my loved ones ever do, too." - Sam K.
"I believe it's crucial to know the identity of the person installing your system, and I wish I had known that beforehand. Since I'm an electrician by trade but don't have time to install at my house, I became concerned that the firm they chose would attempt to get access to areas of my home where they had no business being. In addition, the permits weren't sent to the finance company until over a month after the construction was finished, causing them to check my credit again. Now that we've ironed out the kinks, I'm attempting to set up the app that monitors the system, and customer support has been a nightmare. They have done everything from placing me on wait for an extended period of time to ignoring my emails and claiming that my messages were automatically created." - Wilson R.
"My yearly cost has increased by over $3,500 in the last year (just one year!! ), and I have been asking Solar Plexus to come and examine my system for the previous five years. However, I have received nothing but the runaround. So, I went and hired myself a lawyer. He advised I get a professional tech to look at my set-up. Malted wire and bolts have created a major fire danger, and just 35 percent of the panels are working properly due to improper installation. My in-laws are also here; my wife, two boys, and my 70-year-old mother-in-law. Going completely solar is TERRIBLE and incredibly risky. Bad service, bad goods, and bad service after the sale are the worst. HORRIBLE." - Noah L.
"We're at a loss for words to describe how fantastic this firm is. It's been about a year and a half since we acquired a house that is completely off the grid. Despite our inexperience in this area, Solar Plexus has always come through for us. We were able to negotiate a price reduction beginning with the first examination of the system. Since then, we've learned a ton from them, and they've helped us save money on service calls by teaching us how to do things ourselves and answering our queries (for free). They constantly provide a plethora of alternatives, complete with pros and disadvantages. In most cases, they will advise you to go with a less priced option. Despite our relatively little size, we are treated like we are their most valuable client thanks to their prompt and attentive service. Investing in this firm is a safe bet." - Larry C.
"Solar Plexus did a great job installing solar panels on our roof in Superior, MT, and we couldn't be happier with them. We suggest Solar Plexus if you're in the market for solar panels and live in or around Missoula, Montana. The cost was fair, and getting 25% of it back at year's end was a nice bonus. We had them put in back in April of 2019, and since then, we've had zero issues with the system." - Jett B.
"In every way, Philip and his crew performed like pros. My wife and I appreciated their kind service. Unrelated to the solar panel installation, we encountered trouble with the pilot light and Philip graciously assisted us in fixing the problem. To elaborate: (1) Solar Plexus had an initial estimate for the installation costs that was too low by $1000, and they were ready to absorb the additional expense themselves. That's reassuring since it shows they treat their consumers with integrity. (2) We came across an unrelated product problem later in the summer that had nothing to do with the work Solar Plexus had done for us. After helping the Mfr figure out the issue, Solar Plexus returned to work with them on a solution.(3) We are quite naive about solar power, but Solar Plexus has been kind, helpful, and very attentive to all of our inquiries. Excellent business with first-rate offerings and helpful staff. I cannot speak highly enough of them." - Jay F.
"OM Wow, I'm impressed with how quickly they respond to solar panel problems. Our trip into town takes 1.5 hours. I really appreciate it. They are meticulous, taking as much time as it takes to solve the problem. Makes an effort to provide our understanding. Provides excellent phone service and a human voice. They have done a fantastic job of connecting us to solar energy. Our solar store is currently at Solar Plexus." - Ramon T.
"Solar Plexus is a fashionable brand. They completed the task quickly and effectively. There were no issues due to poor communication. Future ventures with them would be a pleasure for us. Substitute electrician had to fix small problem before it could pass city inspection. We initiated the application process and oversaw all aspects of the incentive agreement with Northwestern Energy. The complete cost of the project was paid to Solar Plexus, and we will get the incentive from the power company. The process was quick and easy. There will be no unexpected fees or changes. Working with Solar Plexus was a pleasure." - Ricky M.
