"Up to the point when I signed the dotted line, my experience with SunPeak was positive; after promising to install the system in January, I finally had it done at the end of March, but only after persistently following up with them. The only problems are that the salesman didn't tell me I needed a smart meter 2 for the property, so I'm losing money when excess energy is sent to the grid, and the storage batteries aren't large enough, so I'm left paying for off-peak energy for seven hours after the sun goes down even though the system is working perfectly." - Brock K.
"SunPeak has been nothing but a headache for me. Reversal of initial prices, incompetent and unqualified installation, abysmal assistance after the sale, etc. In order to connect my systems to the grid, I need assistance from another firm. I was on my own to figure things out. It's been a constant uphill battle." - Lane D.
"The installation was completed by the scheduled date of November 2021, but after a few weeks, I noticed that one of the covers from the power switch adjacent to the panel had been changed, leaving me worried about a possible short circuit in the event of rain. I called the manager many times, but he repeatedly put off fixing the problem. Despite a 2-year follow-up, no resolution has been found." - Raul L.
"The worst company we've ever had to do business with. WARNING, they want money in full before installing anything. Poor workmanship, insufficient familiarity with the goods, lack of ethics and respect all contributed to a highly irritating installation. Despite several phone calls and emails, they still haven't followed through on their commitments. We even threatened to get in touch with consumer affairs, but it didn't faze them at all. We continue to use a system that is subpar. The appropriate authorities will be contacted as soon as possible. Avoid dealing with firms like these." - Jakob O.
"A contractor arrived late and unprepared, perhaps due to an inadequate quotation. He informed me that the installation would cost extra, so I immediately phoned SunPeak and informed them that I would not be paying their increased rate. They planned to handle it after that. The installer came back to finish off the remaining work. The contractor sends in their bill the next week. I've tried everything to get SunPeak to live up to their end of the bargain, but to no avail. They completely ignored me. To save money without sacrificing quality, I opted for SunPeak. My assumption was incorrect." - Paxton S.
"In less than three weeks, SunPeak built and connected my 26-panel system. Permits and paperwork were no problem thanks to their assistance. We thought solar was a good bet because of federal tax subsidies and the Focus on Energy" initiative. My current power output exceeds my current use." - Jacob B.
"Using SunPeak was a fantastic experience for me. The deal was completed without a hitch. Mike was particularly helpful in outlining the layout and functionality of my system. The installation went smoothly and successfully. The performance of my system has been as promised, and I have no hesitation in recommending SunPeak to anybody thinking about installing solar panels at their house." - Michael H.
"My installation was completed today, after 2 1/2 days (26 panels)! Not hooked up yet but we were very impressed by the crew. They were polite and courteous. Very professional. They cleaned up every day and kept the whole area neat and tidy. They answered any questions and kept us informed of the job's progress. When they arrived they got to work... no hanging" around. Everyone knew what they were doing and did it. No disagreements, no harsh words and they all seemed to get along. Impressive. Can't wait to let others know what a great job they did." - Alexander J.
"For our PV installation, we went with SunPeak because of their expertise, reliability, and product quality. Everyone we spoke with on the crew and staff was kind, knowledgeable, and eager to deliver as advertised. We researched several other firms before deciding to work with SunPeak, and we discovered that they all fell short in some way, whether it was via outright deception or by inadequately sizing the system and then overcharging for the properly sized one. While the price was comparable to solar panels given by SunPeak, the quality was noticeably worse. The SunPeak team was honest, transparent, and informative throughout the whole process. They were reliable in that they completed their promises on time. Nothing about this procedure was unexpected. Everything about the installation went off without a hitch. If you're looking for a solar company, we strongly suggest you go with SunPeak." - Daniel P.
"Simply said, SunPeak is excellent. SunPeak handled every aspect of the project with efficiency, expertise, and professionalism, from first consultation to final turn-on and beyond. Solar expert Noah was a huge help in making a final selection by outlining all of the possible purchase and leasing arrangements. That set the ball in motion, and from there on out, everything received the same meticulous care. The choice to switch to solar power, and SunPeak's subsequent efforts, have brought me nothing but joy. In my opinion, this firm is the best option for anybody looking into installing a solar energy system." - Taylor R.
