CalState Solar online reputation

Overall, CalState Solar seeks to satisfy the demands of its clients while providing a broad variety of services. However, a small but considerable number of consumers have made individual complaints that suggest the business has communication and scheduling issues. Numerous clients provide the business with great feedback, praising the caliber of the goods they bought, the helpfulness of the customer care representatives, and the efficiency of the solar panel installation process. Customer feedback indicates that CalState Solar needs to focus more on providing its clients with high-quality service and support.
"The very worst solar business out there. I've tried 3, and the other two were better than this one. They commit several errors yet accept full responsibility for none of them. have problems that are still open. Additionally, they are careless with everything. The solar panels are at best mediocre when they are really in use. After the task is finished, they don't answer calls, and the work was done very, really badly." - James L.
"Unprofessional business. Danielle, the scheduler, booked the tech to come out to our house from 1-4 pm, or else they would not be able to come for a couple of weeks while we were attempting to connect our solar, so we took time off of work to be home for the tech to arrive. When we contacted her around 4 pm, she replied that the tech had "broken down" and that they would email us the following day with an update. However, the guy never showed up. She sent us an email at 11:28 a.m. stating that the tech is accessible between 12 and 2 p.m., but 10 minutes later, the tech phoned to say that they are only available now. We are unable to depart at such short notice since we both have full-time jobs that need us to travel. We lost valuable time. This is inappropriate and unprofessional." - Angela R.
"In an unwanted contact from this firm, the salesman made a point of insulting the science behind climate change (saying to me that it's those dang politicians who want to conserve polar bears) and began lecturing me about his political beliefs as soon as I stated I didn't want the service. I wouldn't trust this organization to use good judgment in their commercial interactions after such disrespectful conduct during a sales pitch." - Chris O.
"Good luck finding someone to pick up the phone or provide you with a quick email response. If this firm sends someone out to turn on your solar panels, you can wind up having to wait weeks, if not months. unacceptably." - Salim M.
"It was almost hard for me to reach CalState Solar lately when I attempted to call. I waited on hold for more than 45 minutes when I contacted the customer support line before speaking to anybody. I never heard back. I also attempted to email the help team but was unsuccessful. Any client relationship depends on effective communication, and CalState Solar seems to have a serious communication problem. I would advise going elsewhere if you're seeking for a trustworthy and open solar service." - Trevor F.
"In 2015, Mark from Calstate Solar built my 12-panel household solar system. The project worked so well that I decided to hire Mark to design and install a 103-panel system on my business site in 2016. Before hiring Mark, one of the difficulties was ensuring that no more than one solar panel would need to be removed to reach any panels that need repair or replacement. The task was finished, and the system performed flawlessly. Enphase, the monitoring provider, sent me an email informing me that one circuit on the 103 panel was not registering any power generation in December 2019. Chris at Calstate was contacted, and the issue was resolved right away. My home system claimed two panels were not generating in March 2020. Chris at Cal State handled everything with only one phone call. That is what is meant by service and professionalism." - Robert C.
"I just moved into a brand-new condo building in Santa Rosa, and since then, I've run into several issues having my unit built and repairs completed quickly and effectively! BUT WITHOUT. CalState Solar has always been on time, open to communication, and professional. They deliver on their promises and swiftly get my solar system up and operating. Their concern for their clients is genuine. You will be pleased with their service throughout. Danette is prompt in her responses and accommodating of your schedule. The technicians Drew and Heath were kind, knowledgeable, and fully satiated all of my inquiries. I'm quite pleased with this business." - Erin V.
"I simply want to remark on how professional and helpful Calstate Solar was. When we encountered a problem with the utility provider, Dani took care of it for us and put us on their timetable so that our solar system would be turned on within eight days of the problem being resolved. Andy did a great job of describing our system and how to make sure it is operating correctly. Dani was excellent in the workplace. She responded to all of our inquiries and even followed up with us through email to make sure everything went as planned. Anyone interested in installing solar panels on their property should consider this firm." - Lynda U.
"James installed solar panels in my home around six years ago. I haven't received a bill in five of those years, and I just now received one for $200, which is mostly Edison's issue because of their new policy of charging people to be connected to the system we give electricity. After incentives, the system essentially paid for itself in roughly 2 years. Very pleased with the installation and support. Recommend James and Cal State Solar wholeheartedly. the wonderful family business" - Victor F.
"CalState Solar is IP's preferred solar installer for the new tract projects in north Irvine, which is how I first made contact with them. Sincere to say, I can see why—the replies were kind, prompt, and expert. Working with Dannette on the estimate for a new solar system on a separate property was a great delight for me, and she made the installation process for my main residence in north Irvine a very simple and uncomplicated one. Additionally, Mark Pearce has been quite kind and helpful throughout the solar quote process. I believe he is one of the co-owners of the family-run firm. I didn't hear the other reviewers complain about schedule conflicts or not showing up, but even if that were the case, I wouldn't blame them because everyone is going through a difficult time right now and COVID's crazy is forcing everyone to make impromptu adjustments at the last minute. I only truly care about a company's good intentions and desire to provide a hand, and CalState Solar delivered on both counts." - Umar G.

facebook.com
A neglected page that has been dormant for months is the CalStateSolar Facebook page. It receives relatively little traffic and is not often updated. A worsening factor is the absence of any uploaded images, moving pictures, or posts that might pique buyers' attention. There is no way for the page's proprietors to stay in contact with their subscribers, so they cannot hope that new content will entice them to visit the page. The overall upkeep of this page is poor, and it does nothing to attract new followers or buyers. The page has to be updated to attract more followers. Thus, it's time for the proprietors to take much-needed action.
