"Worst business partners imaginable; inept, ineffectual, and downright nasty and ignorant. As for intelligence, he wasn't exactly the brightest bulb in the box." - Jackson F.
"No. They take advantage of the elderly, and their output is poor. The scam capital of the United States is home to some of the worst engineers and con artists I've ever encountered, and dealing with them made me sick to my stomach." - Owen V.
"I did not initiate communication with Total Solar Solutions. Instead, on August 18, 2020, a sales representative reached out to me, and I consented to have someone visit my home the next day to assess my home's viability as a potential installation site and collect pricing and product information. The next day, on August 19, 2020, Mr. Daniel arrived at my residence and immediately set me on edge with high-pressure sales tactics, such as his claim that he was the top salesperson in the region. Despite my discomfort and seclusion, I reiterated that this meeting was for informational purposes only, and Mr. Daniel appeared to concur. Mr. Daniel did not know the answers to any of the queries about measuring photovoltaic site suitability. He assured me that the site was ideal for a solar installation despite never having taken measurements or readings, but he refused to provide me with any written materials, not even the most basic informational materials. Instead, he reassured me that signing a few documents was standard procedure for obtaining the requested information. To obtain my signature, he brazenly misrepresented the legitimacy of the documents he presented to me. I informed Mr. Daniel at Total Solar Solutions via e-mail dated September 23, 2020, that I was not yet prepared to commence work on the project. Mr. Daniel visited my residence on September 29, 2020, to persuade me to proceed with the endeavor. When I mentioned to Mr. Daniel that I had reached out to a company employee a week prior, he insisted that no one was aware of my actions. Afterwards, he threatened to send me to collections for 15% of the total project cost. Obviously, I was taken aback by his personal visit and his insistent tone in urging me to proceed with the undertaking." - Alexander G.
"So, the salesman Maverick visits me at my house and sits down with my wife and me to explain the procedure. To cut a long story short, he makes it sound like it will be easy to get done, so I ask him some questions about payments and the final aspect, and he tells me that we will need two loans in order to keep the payments manageable. I was skeptical at first because I couldn't see how having two loans could help me save money. Maverick reassured him, "Oh, don't worry; with the tax money you'll be getting, you'll be able to pay this first loan without having to pay anything out of pocket." Thus, I remarked, "ok, that makes sense now." However, when it comes time to file my taxes, my tax advisor informs me that I will not receive any payment for having this system installed, but rather a tax credit. My face is flushing as I think about this, and I have to say, hmm. At the time of the sale, I mentioned what Mr. Maverick had told me. As the tax expert points out, however, that happened a long time ago. In the end, I'm still paying more for my electricity because I took out a loan with a high-interest rate. Okay, Mr. Maverick, what do we do now? He apologizes, saying he must find a better way to express himself in the future. Oops! I am really pissed off at these jerks. I would grade this as a failing grade." - Kai W.
"The consultant said we could include mini-splits in the loan and that the interest rate would be a guaranteed 1.49 percent. The $15.5K loan for the mini-splits ballooned to $24K after we ran the numbers. Once I decided to back out of the deal, I learned that there would be a 25% premium added to the loan. Additionally, their quote is more expensive than the market standard. This is not a business I have faith in." - Gabriel P.
"This company just put solar panels on my property. I just wanted to say thanks to Daniel, Reece, and Christine. You guys do great work and make great products. Daniel, you did a great job helping me get my permit from my council, and your product knowledge is top-notch. Reece, the guys who came were great, polite, and did the job with great care and service. I give you guys a very high rating." - Wyatt D.
"Sebastian and his team were nice and did their jobs well. Sebastian first sent an email, and then he went to the site to check it out. Out of the four installers, he was the only one who looked at the roof and other parts of the job. We were sure that someone who cared about this and wasn't just trying to sell us something would make a good product. We were not disappointed! Communication, setup, and service from TSS were all perfect. The whole installation took only one day, and so far the follow-up (inspections, registration, etc.) has been easy. We would definitely tell our friends and family to hire Sebastian and his team." - Benjamin S.
"During the installation of my panels, every single employee I dealt with was courteous and conducted themselves in a highly professional manner. The information that the office provided was reliable and always of assistance. I am extremely satisfied with the installation, and I would not hesitate to suggest Total Solutions Solar to anyone who is thinking about purchasing solar panels." - Mason A.
"After much searching and comparing, we thankfully chose Total Solar Solutions to install our solar system and inverters back to back. From the start, the response was prompt and professional. The sales process was very informative and efficient, and once we placed the order, the follow-up was excellent. A firm installation date was set and adhered to. The installation crew was great and it was obvious that they treated our home and property with respect. The installation was done perfectly and on time, and we were blown away by the results. I would say this is the most professional trade and service company we have ever dealt with. I have already recommended Total Solar Solutions to several friends and family members, and I advise anyone who is serious about installing a high-quality solar system to contact Total Solar Solutions." Total Solar Solutions' offer was not the cheapest, but because they offered world-class products like LG panels and Fronius inverters, backed by local installation and real world experience, we got great value for money." - Henry K.
"In June, I bought a system from these guys that had LG panels, and I couldn't be happier. It's now pumping 30kw a day. After years of dealing with hopeless tradespeople, I can definitely tell the difference! The system smells like it's made of good stuff, and they did a great job installing it. Hudson, the salesman, is always willing to answer questions, and I've never felt like I had to buy more or better because of him. The SolarEdge app is a great way to keep track of what's going on. I just bought an LG Chem battery from Total Solar Solutions, so I'm a repeat customer. 5 stars guys!" - Jack N.
