Terrible, please be cautious. You may find my experience with Beacon Solar to be interesting. On April 27th, 2021, I had a battery-powered system fitted. After repeatedly phoning and expressing my anger over the delay, my inspection eventually took place on July 17, 2021. I gave the system two weeks before calling again to learn that no paperwork had been filed since it had failed inspection. The final inspection was place today, July 26th, 2021. Now I've been informed it might be another four to six weeks before my system is ready to go. To install solar panels takes 6 months is ludicrous. It's been two weeks since I was informed a professional will contact me to fix this, and I'm still waiting for that call. I'm now out of money for a non-functioning system. Dealing with this firm is a nightmare. BEWARE!!! Bad customer service means you'll have to wait. - Alejandro F.
The repair shop's customer service is terrible. After waiting 30 minutes and getting no response from the overseas answering service, you give up. After missing two appointments and then claiming the weather was too windy to get onto the roof for the third, my system has been malfunctioning for months. The call took 30 minutes, and the new date is two weeks away. Since my system is malfunctioning, I am not receiving my money's worth and am beginning to wonder whether I would have been better off not purchasing it at all. - Nolan I.

Beacon Solar was not the cheapest option, but they presented me with the greatest deal for my new solar installation, so I went with them. They helped me secure all the necessary documentation to finish the repair and even offered an extended guarantee. Considering we had to deal with permits and project approvals from the Town and the Utility Company, we were able to get the job done in a reasonable amount of time. While I had previously considered solar and played" around with some small solar panels, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the panels installed continue to generate energy even when the sky is cloudy and, possibly, during not-too-heavy rain storms.
