"A word of caution to the wise! Never before have I worked with such a corporation full of incompetent and dishonest people. Still no sunlight after six months of waiting. The world would be a better place if businesses were more trustworthy and transparent. They promise to meet but never do. When you phone the city, they will say that BE is to blame for the delay, but when you call customer service, they will say that the city is to blame. I intend to seek legal recourse. Is there anybody else who wants to file a class-action lawsuit?" - James B.

"In February, we put pen to paper and officially began working together. But we haven't been able to activate it till now. I asked for updates after the April inspection failed, but all they said was that they were working on it. But as of the month of May, still no development. Now that summer is approaching, I still haven't turned on my solar panels. I tried calling customer service many times, but they always gave me the same response. I've never had anything like this happen before, and I certainly won't be recommending this solar energy business to anybody." - Ryan F.

"I discovered that they provide lease options and other forms of finance details after perusing their website. I wanted to learn more about leasing and negotiate certain conditions, so I contacted them. Yes, you guessed it! Their one-word, disheartening reaction was, "I'm sorry, Robert." Leasing is not a service that we provide. That was obviously an incompatibility, thus they get a low rating from me for failing to state clearly on their website that they do not provide leasing services. If you're looking at leasing solar panels, I wouldn't recommend dealing with them." - Logan F.

"I had a terrible encounter with this firm just lately. In general, it was the worst interaction I've ever had with a company. It seems like I was led on from the start. The firm lied to me about every detail, from the wattage of the panels to the manufacturer. After the first payment was made, it was quite difficult to get in touch with the sales representative. After I finally reached someone, they still denied any installation-related problems were their fault. It was really disheartening to learn that they claimed to have no say over the work of their installation crew. I'm not in a position to endorse this firm. They fail to meet expectations and put little value on happy customers, in my view. "The installation phase of our project was done on 03/18/22, however I have not yet gotten a date for inspection. The status was always the same each time I called to check in with customer support. In addition, I have no way of getting in touch with the office responsible for arranging the inspection. My work cannot be completed in time. In a word, the service is terrible. It is very important for the team responsible for handling inspection processes to hear directly from customers. My impression is that they lack the time management and accountability to provide customers their inspections and activations as quickly as possible." - Elijah T.

"I chose Black Platinum Solar to install 60 panels on my home after talking to several solar companies. I received detailed information about the solar panels, inverters, and the entire procedure for buying and installing solar panels for my home. I was pleased that, contrary to what other solar companies claim, the panels do not have to cover a significant portion of the roof of the house. In today's world, it is amazing that the managers were so informed and that the procedure went exactly as they said. They were accessible and accommodating. My impression of their communication is excellent. They are not the kind of people who offer you something to just disappear. "Our experience with Black Platinum Solar during the purchase and installation of the solar panels was excellent! For someone unfamiliar with solar panels, the information presented during the presentation was easy to understand and did not seem rushed. The installation was completed on time and the staff did a great job of keeping the work area clean both during and after installation. After we signed the contract, Black Platinum arranged the necessary meetings with the city and Arizona Public Service, so there was nothing else for us to do. We were kept informed of these meetings and the progress of the installation. We have no regrets about our decision and have only the greatest appreciation for Black Platinum Solar. "In order to discuss my interest in having solar installed, I called four businesses. One never called back, and the other two left with the impression that there was a lot of information missing from the responses and it almost seemed like they subcontracted the job. On the roof of my neighbor, some of the panels were also placed out. After having a lengthy phone conversation with me, Black Platinum arranged to come to my house to look at the roof parts and how they faced. They later sent me a proposal with their precise layout. I scaled down the idea due to costs, and they were eager to cooperate. The adjusted work was finished, and I am pleased with the company's, everyone's, and the system's quality. "When looking for a solar energy provider, Black Platinum Solar is one of the few that won't bother you. The other businesses were really aggressive, contacting me often and even coming up to my door to get me to choose them before their "great deal" expired. When deciding on anything, I like to take my time and conduct my research. When I reached out to Black Platinum, they were upfront about not harassing me and acknowledging that I had a firm grasp on the services I need. The whole process was well communicated, and I knew exactly what to anticipate. The clearance to begin operations was delayed by a short period, but they handled it efficiently. "We went with Black Platinum Solar because of the pricing and the owner's straightforward sales approach. We handed him two years' worth of APS bills. Andrew determined the appropriate size of the system for us and claimed he had set it up to produce somewhat more electricity than we normally use after going solar. We have not had to make any payments to our energy provider since the system was installed in October of this year. APS gave us a refund of about $200 in the previous year, and it seems that this year we will get around $400. That's a significant decrease from our August 2020 bill of $632, which prompted us to investigate solar energy.
