Our inverter was improperly installed by Greenleaf Solar. I first called in July of 2020 and they still haven't fixed the issue. Do not put your faith in them. They are unable to perform a good job of installing solar panels. In addition, their customer care agents often lie to avoid following through on their commitments and never return clients' calls. I wish I could offer a higher rating, but once you sign a contract with them, they treat you like a number and you have no way of getting in touch with anybody who can assist you. Excellent service and communication up to the point when I signed the contract, at which point I heard nothing more. It took weeks to get a response, and promises were broken. The personnel handling my account" kept changing, and it was quite difficult to get in touch with the person who was actually responsible for my case. I called them up at the last minute to cancel and let them know how disappointed I was, but they didn't seem to care much. Several weeks later, someone from the retention department contacted me, saying he wanted to hear more and attempt to make things right; I scheduled a meeting with this person for the following day, but I haven't heard back from him. The field crew that was supposed to remove the panels for the roof repair due to hail and inspect their equipment from the same storm has not yet gotten back to me. When reading the reviews, it is clear that the reviewers are paid to write favorable evaluations and that they all sound the same. Greenleaf Solar's replies are just as robotic and scripted as their products. This may be an automated system offering an apology and a phone number. The fact that they phoned and got no answer is particularly amusing. We see actual individuals in your one-star reviews, so we appreciate the warning. Among the most convenient businesses to collaborate with. On-time installation and delivery of all components were guaranteed. The proprietors, front desk, and installation crew are all really kind and helpful. The tax reimbursements promised to me by Tom Van, who handled the sale of my system, came promptly and in the form in which they were promised. The proprietors, Seth and Ian, were my point of contact. They spent time carefully sizing my system based on my previous year's electricity use and expenses. They went through the many reasons why buying is preferable to leasing, including the expected return on investment. It's been roughly three years since the system was put in place, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Since then, I haven't had to pay for electricity at all. When they're in the area, they even drop over to make sure everything is running well. Since the panels are mounted on the rear of the home and the installers disguised the wiring and PVC conduit that feeds the wire, no one can tell that I have solar panels.
