"A solar hot water storage system was designed and installed by Metro Solar at a cost of $20,000. Due to their flawed design, one of the compressors failed twice. Metro Solar refused to honor the pump and installation warranties. They wanted to charge me $750 to replace a pump that was still under warranty for two years. The retail price of the pump is $400, and the manufacturer (Taco) honored the warranty. Not only did they overcharge me, but they also avoid collecting sales tax when they should in order to receive a "discount" Then, they wanted to charge me $2,100 to remedy their ineffective design. I was capable of installing a new pump and repairing their flawed design on my own." - Tony F.
"I wanted to speak with someone when I called the number listed on the internet to inquire about the company's commercial solar installation services (which were not made abundantly obvious on the website). The receptionist told me that in order to speak with someone, I would need to submit my business card to their office. When I appeared bewildered by this, she sent me to their website, but after that, she refused to answer any more of my questions. wow!! This strategy really captivates my interest!" - Taylor T.
"You should avoid dealing with the Metro Solar crew, as other reviews have pointed out. They are really unprofessional, in my opinion, and it seems like their business model is to skimp on installs wherever they can. When their cutting corners causes problems, good luck trying to obtain any kind of resolution. There is no reasonable reason that comes to mind for you to take the risk of cooperating with this organization. You have been forewarned, but if you want to gamble with your time and money for whatever reason, keep the following in mind. 1. Ensure that they provide you a thorough quotation that includes a complete analysis of the materials and labor expenses. It might be expensive if you don't demand it. 2. Verify the details of their guarantee on parts and labor before purchasing; otherwise, you could discover that little to nothing is covered. 3. Save yourself the hassle and choose a different contractor." - Todd W.
"For the design and installation of a new solar hot water storage system, I paid Metro Solar $18,000. One of the pumps constantly breaking down because the design was incorrect. Dave wants to charge me $2,100 to correct his error after refusing to provide a guarantee on the installation or the malfunctioning pump. They also did not charge me sales tax for the new pump, which means that they are defrauding both the State of Colorado and law-abiding citizens. If you want a contractor that guarantees his job, stay away from him." - Maxwell F.
"AVOID THIS COMPANY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Contract signed on October 17, 2021, but not yet connected. Panels were installed in a single day (all I had to do was pick up the leftover hardware from my driveway), but they failed both the UI and the local electrical inspections. I've called the useless 800 number several times. I am completely lost. I wish I could just take them off my roof and hire a another business." - Vivek L.
"As a sales manager for a restoration firm, I have had the opportunity to recommend and work with Metro Solar on a number of different projects. My clients have consistently left positive feedback expressing their satisfaction with the work done by Nate and his team. I have never had any reason to complain about him as he has always kept on schedule, kept the job site in order, and performed the job as I had envisioned. Recommended!!!" - Tim N.
"My interaction with this company, from the very beginning to the very end, was productive and uncomplicated. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Kathy and Dave have been keeping me up to date on everything that has been going on and when everything will take place. In addition to this, a user-friendly interface! That sways my opinion of you further in your favor." -J enny H.
"Metro Solar is responsible for the installation of our solar heating and hot water system about eight years ago. Both the system itself and Metro Solar have exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be happier. Dave, Nate, and Kyle, along with the rest of the team, are well-informed, productive, and polite, and they have always delivered what they promised they would. I have no reservations about using their services once again." - Hugh J.
"We were seeking for a business that could come to our house and remove some outdated solar panels that were no longer functional. The removal of the panels was accomplished expeditiously and at a cost that was very affordable by Metro Solar. Before we were able to replace a few shingles, they performed an excellent job of repairing the roof with flashing to guarantee that there were no leaks. This was done before we could replace the shingles." - Britney H.
"We moved into a home that had previously had panels put by Metro. The fact that the home was still on their mailing list let me know it was them. Our converter was still covered by warranty, so they sent someone out to check at it as soon as it broke. Pleasant surprise. Considering that the home didn't come with a handbook, their technician also demonstrated how the converter works to me." - Dustin V.
facebook.com Metro Solar's official Facebook page looks empty and unfinished. It contains contact information, geo, and the company's working hours. The page has only 21 subscribers. Although the feed shows constant updates in the form of photos and videos of their recently completed works, there are no reactions from people at all, from which we can conclude that the page is not very popular. In conclusion, we can say that from this page, we can see that the company really works and exhibits finished projects, and this can help customers when choosing a company. |
