PowerHouse Solar online reputation

PowerHouse Solar has been praised by its patrons almost universally. The solar panels, the installation, and the customer service have all been praised. Customers have also remarked on the staff's expertise and friendliness. However, there have been some customer complaints about the service's high prices and lengthy wait times. Despite this, PowerHouse Solar continues to be a go-to for quality solar products and services.
"Although the installation went smoothly, the work turned out to be a nightmare. PowerHouse lied to us and told us that they monitored the panels 24 hours a day, yet several of them stopped working. If that had been the case, we would have known right away that there was a problem. In addition to the regular payments for the solar panels, we got a $4,800 bill and still haven't sent a technician to fix anything. Do your research; we regret working with PowerHouse." - Ryan D.
"Have fun dealing with this dreadful local business. I had a short conversation with a sales rep on the phone and we arranged a time for him to call and visit my house. The salesperson on the phone kept repeating, "we are really expensive," when I asked him about the company's goods. The time for the follow-up call arrived, and two months later, I still haven't received one. We never got another word from them. No response to my calls or mails. These regional solar power providers appear so conceited that they expect potential clients to grovel before them before doing business. I finally decided to switch to a firm whose priority was satisfying its customers." - Brian S.
"I regret to have to write the following. We made a bid for Powerhouse Solar. When they moved into our area from Chico, we had the pleasure of being his first customers, and we were not disappointed. This year there was a fire in Zogge. We contacted Powerhouse Solar because of problems with the installation of the solar panels. I contacted them and requested an estimate; the insurance agent preferred a site visit instead of an emailed estimate provided. Charles would have to be involved, so he promised to call me. Time passed: three weeks. Since we have a new insurer, my husband called and spoke to Jessica yesterday to let her know that we could accept the estimate via email. She promised to call us back as soon as they finished the meeting. It was early yesterday morning and I didn't hear anything. My heart is breaking. After all these years of supporting them, I feel ashamed." - Olivia F.
"In my opinion, this is not a suitable match for us. To cancel, we were had to sign paperwork and return only one piece of paper. The process of canceling the funding was simple and fast. Not so simple for the remaining service and product offerings. It took many phone calls to verify my cancellation request sent through email. I'm very upset about this." - Jovan L.
"Pls. Please do not join PowerHouse Solar. Everyone is being very honest. The paperwork I signed makes it impossible to terminate my service. Even though I signed up for autopay and provided a blank check that had already been cashed, my monthly bill now includes a $5 fee since I do not have autopay set up. There is no way to reach customer assistance through telephone. What a terrible company. No one, not even the salesperson, has answered my SMS. Do not put your confidence in them. My monthly payment is the same as it was before I installed solar panels, and I really regret signing up with them. Don't pay attention to these idiots." - Dennis E.
"Late in July, we signed the contract, and the workers just completed the installation tonight, on New Year's Eve. The installation staff was the epitome of professionalism and friendliness. They arrived, gave an explanation, and immediately got to work. The bulk of the job got done in only one day. On day two, they arrived, finished up, switched the system on for testing, and were completed, including clean up, in a matter of hours. The lengthy time between signing the contract and the actual installation is the sole reason for the 4 out of 5 star rating. While some of that is due to our local building department, it was annoying to have to contact my Concierge to find out the reasons for the delay (they needed a deed, they needed the septic tak marked on the plan, etc.) and then have them resolved quickly. Please don't make us wait too long for the final inspection so that Dominion may switch out the meter and we can begin generating our own power. The installation team was fantastic once again." - Jayden H.
"Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Powerhouse Solar in Marysville, California, to install a solar energy system at my home. The installers were very professional throughout the entire installation process, and the salesman, was very helpful in obtaining a lease for my system even though my credit was not great and the size of my roof was insufficient to accommodate the size of the system I required. If you're in the market for solar panels, go no further than Powerhouse Solar." - Christopher K.
"I like working with company owners, and that is exactly what this industry provides. When I needed a price estimate for a project, the proprietor himself came over to put pen to paper. They provide a plethora of assistance beyond what their name suggests. I hired them to install a gable vent fan in the garage and a whole-house fan in the main home. Affordable and quick service from trained experts. Removed all trash from the attic and the ceiling hole. When I install solar panels, I intend to utilize them." - Tyler P.
"About seven years ago, PowerHouse Solar installed our first solar array; about three years ago we added new panels. In the interim, we used two different tracking mechanisms and panels. Recently, PowerHouse quickly responded to our request for help and came in to integrate the two monitoring systems into a single, unified dashboard. They were a pleasure to work with, competent and flexible. We were pleased with the work they did for us. I love that we have solar/electric power and no bills from PG&E thanks to PowerHouse! The owner of the firm takes care of any problems that arise and makes sure his customers are happy." - Paul M.
"My experience with PowerHouse solar is over eight years. Both solar pool heating and photovoltaic solar panels were built by them in 2013. They have always been quick to answer questions and reliable. They have a good reputation in the area, so I know they will take care of my solar panel service for the foreseeable future." - Sunil G.

PowerHouse Solar's Facebook page, at first glance, seems to be regularly updated with helpful information for solar energy enthusiasts.
linkedin.com
The LinkedIn profile for Powerhouse Solar seems trustworthy. The website is attractive and informative, giving the company's fundamentals such as founding year and primary goal. Powerhouse Solar has performed solar installation projects documented by before and after images. However, not many people follow the page, and it doesn't provide much information about the business or its offerings. Maybe that's why it's not as well-known as some other solar firms on LinkedIn. Powerhouse Solar might improve the quality and reliability of its website by adding additional information about its services and history.
