"I told them that since Rayah had the lowest bid, I had to pay $10,000 less for their subpar job. Unfortunately, I had a leak in my roof. At first, I blamed the roofing company I hired to replace my old roof before installing solar panels. Upon inspection, the roofers revealed me that the source was the solar panels. I sent Rayah photos showing the many sources and extents of the leaks. It is without a doubt the panels. There have been at least 20 attempts at communication with them, and each time I receive the runaround. No, they won't get back to me when I call. I have to go via insurance, so here's hoping they sue and get their money back. Although solar power has many benefits, I recommend going with a different installer. In September of 2021, we'll be putting in for a ground mount. Our previously dry basement was flooded after they left a huge excavation exposed to our foundation for months. During and soon after the floods, they responded quickly to concerns and requests, but in the years leading up to it, they mainly ignored them. We hired a backhoe operator and finished filled up the trench after a long delay. Even though the electric company granted us authorization to operate and placed a net meter in 2021 after we paid Rayah in full, we are still unable to utilize solar power. "The founder/owner was incredibly informative and took the time to explain everything, and the cost was average. On the downside, however: The advise to set up virtual metering against the greatest usage meter was wrong (everyone thinks it should have been put up against the lowest use, even them), and it will cost thousands to have the electrician repair it (I was setting it up for a multi-family building). 2) They didn't solve the system glitch we reported in mid-November until March. However, I had to get in touch with them many times to have it addressed (they never appeared to follow up on their own, even though they promised they would), and a problem with virtual metering has not been resolved as of July despite my repeated emails and phone calls.
