I only received one answer, which said that they were too busy to plan any further solar installations at this time. I'm going to choose a different business. "I had solar panels and a new roof put on by this firm. $50,000 was spent. The first rain falls in Los Angeles three months later. It is unmistakably a roof leak. They very obviously failed to seal a pipe that entered the roof. They are now asserting that their guarantee does not cover it. In addition, they installed my air conditioner on the roof improperly and left one side of it entirely unsupported, which caused it to tilt and allowed water to collect on my roof, creating corrosion. The roof was further put in, paid for, and passed inspection over two months ago, yet it is still not working. They are attributing that one to the city. "They have worn me out! Nearly often, if not always, the people I have appointments with don't arrive at the appointed time and are usually on the incorrect day. When I phone to ask whether someone is coming, there is no response. Either they are very busy or their customer service is appalling. The installation of the air conditioner was so peculiar that it does not resemble the surrounding homes. causing the city inspector to inquire into their prior commercial dealings in my city. "The scheduling of a face-to-face meeting to talk about the solar project has been arranged. There was no call from the sales guy, and they did not appear. "The worst firm I've ever dealt with has to be this one. They are fantastic at charming you into signing the contract. After being signed, it's over. Everything is awful—the communication, the project's justification, the timing, the lack of responsibility, etc. The suppliers they work with are equally awful. I had a roof leak immediately beneath a panel the day after my installation. This is occurring amid a downpour. It took them a week to send someone out to investigate. After that, they had the gall to inform me that "it wasn't their work that caused it, but they'll fix it as a courtesy." When I showed them a roof inspection from a little more than a year ago, their perspective was altered. After 11 months, three county inspections failed, two no-shows, and one text that said, "You never got my text?" Finally, with help from the project manager, the inspection was successful. There was no follow-up after the inspection was successful. There is no guidance on how to proceed in the event of a problem, who to contact for troubleshooting, or even how to download the dang app to track my energy output! It has been a full year since the installation, and there have been no new issues. We had difficulties during the installation because of how close the gas meter was to the electric panel. The two components' initial placement was off by a few inches, which delayed installation and approval by a few months. Guy and the crew were not to blame. Even though the permission issues may have been avoided with greater preparation, we're delighted that everything has now been rectified and brought up to code.
