Boston Solar were recommended by a colleague. Their proposal was well presented and well explained, and competitive with another bid I received. Overall I was very happy with both the design phase and the installation team. The only downside was a six-month delay between design and installation.
We used Boston Solar as part of the Solarize Needham program. They were very professional throughout the process and thoroughly explained everything along the way. We are delighted with our new solar panels.
I started thinking of going solar few years ago but did not give it a serious attention until some months ago. I read a lot of review and contacted about 6 installers. Among the companies (national and local), I found Boston Solar outstanding in terms of initial visit, technical know-how, organization, timeliness, customer support and pricing. Starting with my first meeting with John, I was convinced of what I stand to benefit from solar installation. John presented his own zero dollar electric bill and explained how I can replicate the same. He wasn’t “pushy” like some. He allowed ample time for me to decide. He was available to answer my questions. My installation process went smoothly despite the pandemic. Mali, my project manager is another outstanding staff of Boston Solar. He was on top of everything. The technical crew that installed the panels demonstrated high expertise. Unlike other panels installed near me, they ran the pipe conducting the positive and negative terminals through the attic so it wasn’t visible on the roof. My panels are running fine and I am able to view both the production and my usage through the online program.
