"Cromwell is quite good at marketing themselves on the front end. After that, they were out of panels and, as far as I can tell, had to wait for the supplier to create more. They were late with the installation by approximately three months, and then they increased the price without asking me whether I wanted it or not. Then they went on vacation, which caused the hookup with the electricity provider to be delayed. As a direct consequence of this, I lost out on many wonderful months of sun. They do not itemize their bills and instead send them out of the blue without warning. Their accounting is terrible. I'm not sure whether I can suggest it." - Meri D.

"My previous experiences pale in comparison to the one I'm having right now. They came out to install the solar panels, but the paddles did not function properly, and it is hard to get in touch with anyone. When they come to fix anything at your house, they show up in unmarked cars and don't wear uniforms. extremely unprofessional when they arrived to fix eventually the 13 out of 26 panels that were not functioning, there was still one panel that has not been working, and it has not been working for over a month now, then they had the component brought to my home then they finally repaired the panels that were not working. My monthly power bill is $451, which includes the monthly payment of $251 that I contribute toward the solar panel system. There have been no follow-up phone calls at all from Cromwell. When I contact them, it takes several days before anybody even responds. I have the worst regrets, and as a result, I will never again go for solar energy. This makes absolutely no sense. When I reach out to management, nobody from the sales department responds to my questions or concerns. " - Anthony M.

"Keep a watch out for red flags while signing the contract if you choose to install solar panels with the Cromwell firm. After three years, I've come to the conclusion that their lies and broken promises. Even though I have sometimes left all equipment off for a few days, I have never been completely independent from electricity. I have to pay about $70 per month in addition to the solar panel expenses. I phoned them to ask them to remove the system, knowing that I would have to pay a fee, but they refused and said it was not feasible. You already know that if you choose to work for this firm, bear in mind that if anything goes wrong (likely), you will be permanently associated with it." - Jorge F.

"From what solar energy can do for your electricity bill to when someone will arrive to "fix" the issue, this firm lies about it everything. We haven't reduced our light cost in any way, and we've had to call them back multiple times to clean up their mess. In addition, I now have a large solar panel payment on top of my regular hefty light bill. The worst financial error we've ever committed! I want to leave this. Having to retain legal counsel. This business is very dishonest and will tell you anything you want to hear. When they do call, they are unresponsive and don't know what they're talking about. They don't want to solve the issue; they just want to push you away! What an oversight!" - Beth G.

"This business should not be trusted. They are quite aggressive and hardly give you a chance to read the contract. They also fail to inform you of the cancellation costs or the fact that they would place a lien on your home without your knowledge. They were quite unpleasant and forceful when I attempted to terminate my contract, and when I persisted, they stopped returning my calls and ignored my emails. And now that the time has past due to their error, they had given me a bill to pay. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY OR YOU'LL END UP PAYING $3,000 FOR NOTHING AND YOUR HOME WILL HAVE A LIEN." - Tratt P.

"Our sales meetings and installation management were excellent. It was a push, but they managed to finish it and have it approved by December 31 in accordance with our intention to have it finished before the end of the year for tax purposes. We are really happy with the unit and have generated more electricity than anticipated. A few problems occurred during installation since the electrician they hired to install the unit within the garage did not arrive. As a result, they were forced to connect the unit outside the home and cover a roof vent, which they subsequently paid to have redirected. We are happy that they took care of any issues that arose for us." - Whit R.

"At our farm, we established two systems. One for the Barn and one to supply the home. We had a lot of criteria, and the Cromwell team did a good job of guiding us through them. Their team created a system that would bury the farm's wiring system and pass via the backup generator we have in the event that the power goes out. They had a lot of red tape to go through with the county and KCPL, and it may have been one of the most intricate systems they have ever installed. They handled everything. The schedule, in my opinion, was just decent and not exceptional because of this. Although the system has only been producing since October 2016, we discovered that we had a negative charge on one system and a significantly lesser bill on the barn in our March 2017 bill. For the residential property, we employed a lease agreement, and for the commercial property, we were able to get tax and depreciation benefits. Overall, we are pleased with the procedure and the system." - Keller M.

The whole process, beginning with my first encounter with their Sales personnel and continuing through the final commissioning, was quite easy and went very well. The crews are wonderful to work with, and the office staff kept me informed each week on the process and the following stages. A little over two months after giving Cromwell Solar the go-ahead to proceed, I was up and running...The sales representative explained everything flawlessly, and everything transpired precisely as he predicted. The first year, my system produced approximately 8% more than what was guaranteed. I had a bid from a company called ION, and they attempted to underbuild my system by claiming it would be sufficient without ever collecting my utilization data. Chad, a trustworthy sales representative, taught me a lot when I called for a second quotation. I paid a little bit more, but their testimonials were much more favorable, and their two-year production guarantee and in-house, salaried workforce played a significant role in my decision. I will shortly be relocating and cannot wait to use them on my next property!" - Tim N.
