Hawaii Pacific Solar online reputation
Hawaii Pacific Solar offers high-quality services and exceptional client attention overall. Customers have expressed their delight with the high quality of goods, outstanding customer service, and the peace of mind that comes with selecting a reputable and trusted solar firm. On the other side, some customers have complained about delivery issues or lengthy wait periods for support. To resolve these problems, Hawaii Pacific Solar is dedicated to giving its clients the greatest customer service experience imaginable."There is no desire to maintain the equipment, and Hawaii Pacific Solar offers the worst customer service. They don't give a hoot that our downtime is costing our customers money, and they have no idea that we can't pay less for our electricity since we aren't producing any. If you're already irritated, trying to find assistance by going online or phoning won't help. If you send a support request and wait three to five business days to hear back, you will only be told to schedule an appointment with a technician. Do you not believe they would send it to you immediately if they realized what you needed? Requesting a technician may add another week or more to your wait time, and if they require replacement components, that's on top of that. They're worse than other utility providers since they want you to be on call the whole working day, not just during business hours. You'll get nowhere by calling, thanks. Stay far away from the firm!" - Dillon S.
"As part of our efforts to refinance, we will be paying off our Hawaii Pacific Solar lease and transferring ownership of the vehicle. We started back in August, and here we are on the next-to-last day of October. Our loan officer has sought a payback statement and wiring instructions from Hawaii Pacific Solar by phone, email, and the company website, but HPS has not responded. Since HPS has ignored our demands, we are unable to proceed with the refinancing. I would advise against leasing solar panels from HPS and instead recommend buying them outright or going with a different provider." - Derrick L.
"Trying to call people to remove panels so the roofing company can fix the roof has turned into a crazy nightmare. If you called on the phone, you would be transferred so many times that you would eventually be disconnected after hours on hold. You are contacted by email asking you to fill out a form on the website. You go there to fill out the form, but all you see are listings for cars for sale. The next step is to go to a lawyer. After three months of fighting this, I can't take it anymore." If you are thinking about installing solar panels with this firm, "RUN" and don't look back." - Taylor G.
"After signing a contract, dealing with them becomes a nightmare. Once they get your money, they quickly go back on their grandiose promises. The item was broken more often than it functioned. They won't fulfill their warranties even though I purchased the equipment outright and am now able to fix and make the item perform better than they did. I considered suing them, but it would have been too expensive, and the two attorneys I contacted both declined to handle the case without a retainer, so I decided to pursue this alternative instead. Compare prices. Before deciding on a solar energy provider, you should check out several other installations and chat with the clients there." - Brock E.
"My energy expenditures were much reduced despite the salesman's prediction that I would need a 15,000 kW system to power my enormous house. I stated that it was our first winter in the house and that we'd only been there for six months. We settled on a 23,000 system that would generate 13,000 kilowatts and have a 10-year payback period. Hawaii Pacific Solar upgraded the system to 6,000 kw without telling us and without offering us a discount. The upfront cost of going solar, together with the 20-year payback period, has left us with a hefty power bill. The firm is incredibly dishonest. If and when a class action lawsuit may be filed, please notify me." - Trent S.
"Our firm is an experienced PV investor, and we have worked with other Hawaii PV companies to construct more than a hundred PV systems. However, Hawaii Pacific has emerged as our preferred contractor for several reasons: Excellent value for the money, highly trained and responsible employees that get along well with building tenants while installing our systems, and prompt resolution to any issues that may arise (hey, it happens to the best of us). Their design staff is top-notch, and they are open to trying out several approaches to finding us the optimal solution. Overall, Hawaii Pacific Sola is a great choice." - Marcos K.
"Over the years, we have collaborated with a wide variety of solar installers. We highly recommend Hawaii Pacific Solar if you're looking for a solar contractor. Over eight years, we worked together on over thirty-five separate projects, installing over seven megawatts (MW) of solar. They provide flawless installs on time, every time. They do what they say they will do, collaborate well, and have high moral standards in everything that they do. This is a firm I would confidently recommend." - Amir D.
"We just got our solar roof installed. The crew who came to our home to do the job were professionals in every sense of the word. They left no trace of their presence on our property and kept us informed every step of the way. The plumbers, electricians, and roofers were superb." - Luca S.
"The Hawaii Pacific Solar team that installed our solar panels and energy walls (2) were consummate professionals and patiently answered all of my many questions. The people who worked in the company's office did an excellent job. I needed timely answers from their design team so that I could make an informed choice to increase the number of electric walls in my facility. I look forward to passing the inspections and turning on the power." - Fabian T.
"The whole process of installing my solar panels was a breeze. Hawaii Pacific Solar performed well at every stage, from the first site assessment through the final municipal inspection. Hawaii Pacific Solar handled the inspections and permits, which included meeting the standards of my homeowner's association. When compared to the prices quoted to me by numerous other local suppliers, they were also quite competitive. Hawaii Pacific Solar arrived at the municipal inspection 30 or 40 minutes early to make sure everything was in order since they had completed the installation a week early." - Frank I.
