"There is no desire to maintain the equipment, and Hawaii Pacific Solar offers the worst customer service. They don't give a hoot that our downtime is costing our customers money, and they have no idea that we can't pay less for our electricity since we aren't producing any. If you're already irritated, trying to find assistance by going online or phoning won't help. If you send a support request and wait three to five business days to hear back, you will only be told to schedule an appointment with a technician. Do you not believe they would send it to you immediately if they realized what you needed? Requesting a technician may add another week or more to your wait time, and if they require replacement components, that's on top of that. They're worse than other utility providers since they want you to be on call the whole working day, not just during business hours. You'll get nowhere by calling, thanks. "As part of our efforts to refinance, we will be paying off our Hawaii Pacific Solar lease and transferring ownership of the vehicle. We started back in August, and here we are on the next-to-last day of October. Our loan officer has sought a payback statement and wiring instructions from Hawaii Pacific Solar by phone, email, and the company website, but HPS has not responded. Since HPS has ignored our demands, we are unable to proceed with the refinancing. If you called on the phone, you would be transferred so many times that you would eventually be disconnected after hours on hold. You are contacted by email asking you to fill out a form on the website. You go there to fill out the form, but all you see are listings for cars for sale. The next step is to go to a lawyer. "After signing a contract, dealing with them becomes a nightmare. Once they get your money, they quickly go back on their grandiose promises. The item was broken more often than it functioned.
