"Unfortunately, I had to hire Power Guru to have solar panels placed on my roof lately. My dealings with them were mostly negative because of their outrageously high initial costs and inconsistent fees and rates. The original price quote I received from the company was far lower than my final bill. It wasn't made clear where the additional charges would apply since they weren't indicated. These extra fees weren't stated in the contract until after the product had already been sent and set up. " - Ben P.

They required a significant up-front payment for the installation of solar panels, and even after installation, their prices were constantly changing. "Once confident in Power Guru for my solar energy needs, I've been more dissatisfied with them as of late. To begin, the payback time for their solar systems is absurdly lengthy; for some consumers, it might take up to 25 years. It's almost lengthy enough to cover a consumer for the rest of their natural lives. In addition, their costs tend to shift erratically throughout the year. It's difficult to have faith in Power Guru because of the frequent changes in their costs and repayment periods. Why their rates fluctuate so much from one month to the next is beyond me. "This Power Guru guy delivered! Power Guru was the only solar installer who took the time to sit down with me, listen to my goals, propose possibilities that I had not considered, and then design a system that would match my requirements while I worked with Efficiency Vermont to renovate my house to be more energy efficient. Bhima's technology, which was tailored to my requirements, was much cheaper than the other offers. Bhima supplied me with all the information I needed to verify that the panels I bought from him were top of the line and had a 25-year guarantee when I questioned him about the equipment he was using before the job started when I was concerned that I could be receiving lesser equipment, brought up by another contractor. Power Guru installed a battery bank and inverter system for me after I bought a 3kW system from them; the attention to detail they showed in teaching my wife and I was remarkable. For these reasons and more, I enlisted Power Guru's assistance in launching Southshire Community Solar in Bennington, Vermont; the project has tested both of our patience, but Bhima's more so than mine; we finally broke ground last week on a 90kW community system we've been planning for over a year." - Doug H.

"Everything was completed on time and with a positive attitude, and there were no issues with the roof or the meter. Why should one find fault? Power Guru directed me to a credit union that accepted my loan for solar panels without any problems, even though my bank had denied my creditworthiness for rearranging my mortgage." -

"The team has done a fantastic job. All of them are fascinating human beings and helpful throughout the whole process. To the potential solar owner: Have the area staked and examined by both yourself and Bhima before installing the panels. This is in no way a criticism of the firm. If we hadn't miscommunicated, I would have been able to place the panels a bit lower in my field, where they would have been entirely out of sight from the house. In the event of an issue, someone would be there that day, and you could reach out to any of them at any time! But I'm glad I was surrounded by this crew; I wouldn't trade them for the world. Bhima was constantly trying to get me the BEST DEAL. to aid in reducing expenses. I felt completely at ease with all of them in my home because of how punctual, clean, and helpful they were. "Late last year, I made two separate purchases from Power Guru. With the onset of winter, generators are used much less often, even though construction is still ongoing. Since the Discover lithium-ion batteries charge so rapidly, the generator may be operated for shorter periods and less often. The software empowers the user in ways that were previously unimaginable.
