"Twice I've had solar panels installed at my house. At first, things seemed perfect until permits started being issued. My paperwork took two weeks to arrive and never did. I contacted the coordinator of the project I was working on and he said they were still in line. Therefore, I decided to back out. After two weeks, I reordered. The second time around, nothing worked. It seems like no one is paying attention to the consumers, since my overlay was not to my liking. After not hearing back from my project organizer after 48 hours of emailing and calling, I canceled once again. In my opinion, RES Solar is experiencing some serious growth pains right now. They are now lacking the proper leadership to achieve their goals. If they don't improve their customer service, they won't have me as a client for long. "It was the worst thing that had happened to me in years. More than an hour was wasted on hold for me. I called to inform them of a mistake. Someone said I will hear back from them within the next two days. Not a single call came in. And so I returned their call. And suffered unimaginable torment. And there is still no answer. Don't see the purpose of having solar power if I'm still paying for electricity. They're terrible. If you save enough, maybe you won't have to go through what I did." - Maximus C.
"Anna You are the greatest there is. My solar contractor canceled the day before my roof replacement was scheduled to begin. Anna had licensed experts in solar hot water systems out to my house the next day at a fair price. Amazingly helpful, kind, and quick service! The last-minute switch took them away from another assignment for half a day. Re-installation on the new roof is now pending. Next up, I'll be switching to Res Solar's solar voltaic (electric) system. Both systems will get regular maintenance from this business. It is difficult to get consistent, competent servicing for solar hot water, evacuated tubes, or solar photovoltaic systems. Especially if it was installed by a separate company. Res solar is a precious discovery. I hope to be able to work with them again soon, at which point I will revise my rating." - Calvin L.
