It's okay, stuff breaks. March in the year 2021. First I was told 7 days, then 7 weeks. Midway through June has passed with no repair or even an estimate of when one would be made. I've been getting the we've escalated your concern" spiel over and over again. On two consecutive instances, I was assured that a call would be made to me within three days, but no one has called. They are the WORST business I have ever dealt with. Ryan was our resident salesman. Even though we signed up first, my parents have yet to get their solar panels installed. They finalized all paperwork in April but are still not operational. There was no excuse they couldn't use against me. They had to wait since the equipment wasn't attached properly. They keep insisting that they need more possessions now. We keep getting the runaround. If you ask me or anybody I know, they should seek for a new solar energy provider. The worst possible worst-case scenario is I have been fighting with this company for over a year to get assistance with the solar panels they installed in my new home, and they have not provided any. The CEO is very dismissive and states that I am the one supposed to figure it out on my own, and I know it's because I'm a single mother of Afro-Latina descent and he has not helped me. I contacted PG&E and the state, and both confirmed that he was supposed to assist me, but he never did. They are on the Do Not Call list, and SES has never assisted me, therefore I will be writing a negative review about them as well. - Mason B.
Extremely fair. I hired them to put my rooftop solar panels five years ago, and they just upgraded them during a roof replacement. Dustin is excellent, and he makes an effort to stay in contact. They won't pressure you into buying unnecessary solar panels as some other providers do. They were also the people who had set up the solar heating system for my pool before I purchased the home. I had a problem with a leaking tube, and the proprietor promptly sent someone to fix it and teach me how to do it myself. - Benjamin D.
We had to repair the roof before selling our property. Our solar system was installed by a firm that has since gone out of business, and when it came time to remove it, the installers were unable to switch off the water supply to the house, despite having promised to do so. After my husband and I had already relocated out of state, we did a web search and came upon SES. After hearing our frantic call for help, the company owner sent a repair staff to our home right away. We just had to pay for a service visit, and the issue was resolved within a couple of hours. My pool is already heated thanks to the timely installation and the professional manner in which the transaction was handled. What's more, the owner contacted me to tell me he was going to retrospectively provide a $400 discount since the manufacturer had placed the pool solar panels on sale AFTER my setup. He could have avoided telling me if he hadn't done it. Most businesses, in my opinion, would not have done anything like that. They weren't compelled to help out in any way. In 2014, when I moved into my new house, I had SES install a solar hot water system. However, I ran into trouble on at least two separate occasions when the mixing valve above the tank deteriorated and needed to be replaced. The top of the hot water tank rusted through prematurely three years after it was installed due to the issue. The owner, Carl, fixed the mixing valve and gave me a whole new tank.
