"It's a major hassle to go through inspections. As of this review, I have failed one inspection and have been waiting for about three months. For the last two weeks, I have called virtually every day, but all I hear is that they need to speak with the local installation partner. Having a local installation partner has proven to be a headache for me, therefore I recommend finding a company that employs its crew of construction workers instead. Furthermore, their local partner is unable to provide them with an ETA or even a status update. I'd understand if we didn't have to pay for service, but Solar Guys of Oklahoma does offer a paid service plan. What's the point of paying you more each year if you refuse to provide the superior service I expect until I've been made to wait on my local partners?" - Spencer M.

"A few years ago, we installed solar panels. I've been quite fortunate and content up to this point. We were assured by Solar Guys of Oklahoma that if our roof ever required replacing, we could take advantage of a no-cost, one-time removal and replacement. Guess what? My roof needs replacing, but for whatever reason they aren't offering tear-off and re-roofing services right now. I don't care about THAT! My recommendation is to look elsewhere before shelling out thousands of dollars for this sort of service. After the initial setup is complete, you are no longer needed." - Andy S.

"A complete failure. Avoid this area as much as you can. The smooth salesperson hurried me through all of the paperwork without ever giving me a thorough explanation of anything. This approach has already cost me a ton of money, and continuing will add another $300 per month for the next 20 years. My power bill is going up because of this, not down, as I had anticipated. They suggested a roofer, and that was a complete failure. My siding and the costly gutter guard that was previously installed were both demolished by them. I now have to pay for their installation as well as purchase new gutter covers. Numerous old roof nails were scattered across my yard by the roofing company, and I also had to change a flat tire. They also forced me to provide my SREC rights to a third party for a one-time payment for the next 15 years, but none of that was conveyed to me. I'm producing credits that would have paid me steadily for years, but I'm missing out on all of that money because I'm sure they received a kickback for doing it. Send someone away if they arrive at your door with a bargain that looks too good to be true. I have never made a worse investment than this one." - Andre U.

"After installation, customer support was horrible. On March 22, 2022, we called Solar Guys of Oklahoma to get a quote and set up a time for someone to take down and replace our solar panels as a result of a fire. We need to rebuild the roof, but we can't proceed until the panels are taken down. Someone said they will get back to us in seven days. Needless to say, it is now April 11, 22; we have phoned every week from the first week, but there has been no answer. All they would say is that it has been given to a different team and that they are continuing to work on it. How long does it take to provide a quotation and book us? Meanwhile, the roof's trusses are beginning to droop. Prioritizing their removal would seem to make sense in order to prevent the collapse of the whole roof." - Raymond V.

"We knew installing solar panels on our home would be an expenditure, but we were extremely eager to do it. This has, unfortunately, been a terrible experience. The business demonstrated the advantages of putting the panels on one side of our roof before doing the same on the other. While all of our neighbors' houses have solar panels on the front, ours are located on the rear. Now that we have solar panels, our power bill does not reflect their benefits, and we must make an extra payment. The worst aspect was how difficult it was to reach Solar Guys of Oklahoma. For weeks, they completely disregard all phone calls and emails, and when they do react, they act foolish. Although my wife and I had our doubts at first, we ultimately decided to convert since the monthly payments were less than our typical power bill, and the price of electricity is expected to continue rising as demand increases. After one month of using Solar energy, we have not seen any changes in how our home functions. Strongly recommended!
