Batteries WERE installed properly, yet I was still sold refurbished cells. He justified his actions by citing the financial benefits of selling old batts. I did not want to settle for less than what it would cost to complete the work well. Unfortunately, two of the batteries were dead and would not charge. Then he informed me that the two sets of 12v he sold me should have been 6v batts in series for better cycling/charging of batts. Since Ben lied to me after our first phone discussion, I insisted on keeping all of our subsequent correspondence to email. The closest he came to offering a refund was to suggest that I could get one if I removed the negative review. I refused to cooperate until I received a reimbursement, and he would not fix the problem until I took responsibility for it myself. "Our home in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania had two Tesla Power Wall battery packs installed by Belmont in September 2021. We are thrilled with the outcome and highly suggest Belmont's installation services for renewable energy and batteries. In 2015, Solar City, now Tesla, placed solar panels on the south side of our roof. We needed a non-gas generator power back-up with appropriate capacity for a well pump and other necessities after many power outages, including Ida in 2020. We settled on two Power Wall batteries. We concluded that the Tesla Power Wall was the highest-quality backup battery system based on comments and online evaluations, however it was not the most affordable option. After we spoke to Tesla and filled out their survey, they declined to execute the installation. Tesla planned to place solar panels beside its Power Wall. Unfortunately, the requirements for installing extra panels on our north-facing roof were not met. We contacted Belmont, sent along some pictures and requirements, and then set up a meeting with Ben Zoom in June. He also acknowledged the superior quality of the Tesla Power Wall. Belmont was unable to produce a lower quote than Tesla because of his own procurement costs for the power walls. A government discount of up to 30% will become available for the batteries according to the newly enacted Inflation Reduction Act." - Bob

In addition, the side of the shed's roof where we had them fixed was fully protected. Belmont kept us informed on the approvals and progress of our project. Even the installation date was retrieved by them! The installation crew was prompt, efficient, and skilled. They completed in a day, put in 11 panels, and got us up and running the very next day since we already had a solar array placed on our roof (by a different business). "After a few, well, less than stellar encounters with other service providers, we finally had the pleasure of working with Belmont Solar. The company's service, from the first consultation until the moment the power was turned on, was the most complete I had experienced. Our Belmont salesperson did more than simply look up at the roof and nod; he really climbed up there and checked over the dimensions, form, orientation, and exposure to the sun from the south. Despite a condition specifying that fire/rescue personnel required a means to reach the roof, none of the other firms accomplished so; instead, they just pecked away at a laptop and installed panels on every square foot of the roof. They were solely interested in making a sale, not providing us with any advice or information. Although we have not yet reached the spring equinox, our solar panels are already producing a significant quantity of electricity, as Belmont explained in great detail why they were positioned where they were. The energy produced by the summer solstice is something we are quite curious about. The work was done efficiently and neatly by trained professionals.
