Reno Solar online reputation

Many satisfied buyers have given Reno Solar high marks for both product quality and support. Customers have praised the company's expertise and the high quality of the solar panels they installed. However, some clients have complained about difficulties with setup and support. Despite these concerns, Reno Solar remains a trustworthy solar company with excellent offerings and helpful staff.
"Using Reno Solar was the worst decision I ever made. I was frustrated that the business I had hired to complete my job by December 31st had to extend the deadline. When I called Reno Solar, they said they couldn't guarantee it, but there was a good chance my job might be done in two weeks. That could not have happened under any circumstances. I feel like the salesman lied to me to make the deal. My panels were placed on January 23rd, and here we are in February with still no inspection and no power from them. I get that it takes a long time to complete a solar power project; that's not my problem. The problem is that I was promised it could be completed in two weeks, which is obviously not the case. After many calls and emails, the only person to respond has been the sales representative, who still hasn't apologized for initially saying the job could be completed in two weeks. He was in a hurry to have the contract signed so that work could begin on the project, and then he completely forgot about me. When I pull out of the driveway and I look up at my solar panels, I immediately start to second-guess my decision. I am so done with this business that I even researched how much it would cost to get them removed." - Rodney S.
"Two municipal inspections have resulted in failing ratings for Reno Solar. Perhaps by the year 2023, I will have access to solar power. At eleven o'clock in the morning, they planned to take a look around. I waited until 1:30 pm before calling to be informed they were still running behind and asked if I could wait. I had to phone and contact the inspector's office multiple times before he finally turned up around 2 in the afternoon. Over two months after signing the contract, I have received zero updates unless I specifically request them. At one time, I was unable to reach anybody at the firm because their system was set up to forward my calls to a vacation line. They will take as much time as necessary to get things done, so please read everything carefully before signing." - Alan E.
"I was hoping I wouldn't have to write this review, but I feel my story must be spoken. Twelve extra months have passed since the original completion deadline of three months for my solar energy project. Partners G3 Solar is accredited by the Better Business Bureau and work with Reno Solar. Reno Solar is not accredited by the BBB. A large number of individuals have had experiences similar to mine, and those evaluations may be found on the Better Business Bureau's website under the name G3 Solar. My work here is far from done. According to Reno Solar, G3 doesn't know what they installed and lacks the necessary blueprints to pass the city's final inspection. Reno Solar made the sale and hired G3 to do the installation of our solar panel system. I don't see the hurry in getting this done." - Mukul D.
"Reno Solar is a horrible company. This is a business that I cannot endorse. In April of last year, I began the process of installing solar panels. Even though it is already October, DWP has not yet connected my solar panels. I have not received any calls back. Due to Reno Solar's failure to pay the solar panel installer, I was presented with a lien notice last week. Now I'm on the hook for the lawyer's fees. The corporation doesn't give a damn about you as a client. Having a lien placed on your property is very undesirable, regardless of the circumstances. The existence of Reno Solar is inappropriate. They provide false information about themselves. Don't do anything financial with them." - Edward T.
"We had solar panels installed by Reno Solar. Initial consultation. They never showed up or even bothered to call. When I phoned, they said they were sorry. The customer service at this firm is terrible. I'd f them off, no joke. A date for the panels' grid connection was provided. This fell within the expected timeline. Because of the interruption in electricity transmission to the grid, my pge rate has skyrocketed. Can they mend? pay back the money I spent? I have no idea. We haven't had any calls back yet." - Donald K.
"Solar panels were already installed in our new home. However, data was lacking. My spouse did some calling around and settled on Reno Solar. The manager recalled the home and its previous occupant. Karely spoke with us and provided us with all the necessary details. After four months, we discovered pigeon nests under the coverings. Inquiring about Reno Solar, we first contacted a different firm. They were not only much cheaper, but they were also able to get us in straight away. The roof was wiped off, and the netting was put in place. The terrace was then scrubbed clean, and all feces were removed. They were fantastic, friendly, and expert." - Bruce M.
"Since somebody else had installed my system, the front desk staff was able to answer all my questions and direct me to the appropriate resources. Instead of simply telling me they couldn't assist, she was so nice as to put me in touch with an electrician." - Allen B.
"We waited for a few months while the neighbors tested out their new solar system. We phoned Elvis at Reno Solar after hearing rave reviews about the company and were pleased with the quotation we received. Elvis was fantastic; he donned his mask, fielded all of our questions, and guided us through the paperwork. Nothing to put down, plus warranties, service, and more. Help with federal tax forms may be provided in the future. We have nothing but excitement and anticipation for this trip. (More to come... )" - Ericson G.
"Learning what kind of Solar equipment you need might be difficult. We bombarded our sales representative, Jackson, with questions. Jackson was really helpful and informative throughout the whole procedure. We discussed the various setups, our energy use, and potential panel locations. Every issue was addressed, every query resolved, and every ounce of help possible was extended. Reno Solar is a firm we trust and would suggest to others." - Niklaus P.
"Wow! Reno Solar was the only solar company we called that offered to send someone to our home to assess the viability of installing solar panels. Samuel kept us updated at all times, and the installation was finished on schedule. Every serviceman who came to our house was quite competent in their work. They arrived promptly. They made sure we knew what was going on and how to ask inquiries. We simply cannot recommend them more highly. When we initially started looking into solar energy, we wish we had discovered Reno Solar. I'd give them more stars if I could! This is the genuine stuff, folks." - Logan F.
