The sales company, from whom I acquired the system, described them to me as a big solar installation company with exceptional service before and after installation. This is NOT the case. The installation was delayed by two to three weeks because SGE Solar failed to provide payment with the necessary permits. The local inspector who came to speak with me confirmed that he, too, had been unable to reach SGE Solar for comment. My sales guy finally managed to close the deal. The setup went off without a hitch, but everything after that has been a nightmare. I've had the solar panels placed for two weeks but have been unable to turn them on because SGE Solar hasn't provided the power company with the information it needed to do so. Meanwhile, I'm paying more for electricity because I'm not using the power I might be producing." - Trey B.

"In the spring of 2020, I will have SGE design and install a new 6KW system on my roof. They responded quickly to my inquiries and were quite helpful in walking me through the process, which included obtaining the required permits from National Grid and the Town Building Department. Due to the close vicinity of three enormous trees, I asked and paid for SGE to do a shade analysis before finalizing the design. In the early spring of 2021, I also installed an energy monitor. They carried themselves in a professional manner, arrived on time or phoned to let us know when they would, and finished the job without missing any deadlines. The only months where my output isn't high enough to balance our consumption are January and February, and that's mostly because of snow cover on the panels. Fantastic adventure!" - Lane K.
